Hi, does anybody know anything about gremlins? or any creature that could be mistaken for a gremlin?

i need to know because the night before last i felt really uneasy when i went to bed and the second my husband feel asleep i kept seeing shadows dash round the room and heard scuttering noices i was teriffied and it went on for quite a while till i decided to ask out load what it wanted and suddenly my body went really heavy and my head started filling with sudden realizations about my life and people i know i couldn't control it and it was so strong it gave me a migrain and i haven't suffered with migrains for over a year now.
well the two main things taht stood outwere that my grandad doesn't have much longer left and that the fathers mother isn't his birth mother. i phoned my mum in teh morning because she used to get premonitions of peoples deaths and she talked things over with me and explained that it run in the family and one person in every generation before us has had this gift and she also told me that my grandad had been taken into hospital that night.
now the reason i want to know about gremlins is because my brother who doesn't believe in any of this stuff, phoned my mum later that evening and said he'd woke up in the middle of the night and when he presed his clock to sere what time it was the red light illuminated a gremlin sitting on his dressing table. he said to it "your a gremlin" and it started laughing at him so he flicked the light on and it disapeared.

so now im thinking it was a hell of a coincidence to get visits on the same night and wether it might of been gremlins in my room and can gremlins put thoughts in your head? are they good or bad? im so confussed.
