First, when you cast your circle, you are supposed to make a circle, then have lines coming down from each direction (north south east and west) to the middle and have pentacles at each end of the lines in the middle. In the north, a green candle, in the east, a yellow candle, in the south, a red candle, in the west, a blue candle, in the middle, a white candle.

Then in the middle, is spiritual and thats where one person faces north with their/your wand/athame/finger and says:

"By the earth that is her body,"

Then faces east.

"By the air that is her breath."

Then faces south:

"By the fire that is her spirit."

Then faces west.

"By the waters of her living womb."

Then you are supposed to have food and drinks. If you are an adult, you have wine and cakes. But if you are a child, cookies and juice.

For food it's: May you never hunger.

For drink, it's: May you never thirst. For the drink, drink out of your chalice.

For the food, put it on a blessed plate.

Put everything in order any wany you want.

If you have friends, or you are alone, chant:

"I call Einodian (I-no-deen) Hecate, lovely dame,

Of earthly, watery, and celestial frame,

Sepulchral, (see-pull-chur-al) in a saffron veil arrayed,

Pleased with dark ghosts that wander thro' the shade;

Persian, unconquerable huntress hail!

The world's key-bearer never doomed to fail;

On the rough rock to wander thee delights,

Leader and nurse be present to our rites;

Propitious grant our just desires success,

Accept our homage, and the incense bless. "

Then go about your magical working, with the help of Hecate.
