A guide to mirror usage in my personal practice.

Protection- I carry a mirror on me to reflect the face of others back on them.

Obscuring or cloaking: I carry an obscured mirror on me to cloak myself from the view, or thoughts of others.

I also obscure household mirrors using lotion to protect from scrying eyes.

Spirit work- I often scry with a mirror in order to perceive spirits around me, or those whom wish to communicate.

Vessels- I keep a mirrored box as a vessel to protect familiar or household spirits.

Spell work- I use a mirrored tray to obscure spellwork from the divinations of others.

To lock household mirrors- I like to draw a protective symbol with Hyssop essential oil to lock household mirrors if needed.
