With the large knife carve the small end of the staff into a spearpoint. At the larger end of the staff strip away bark and wood until there is a flat space, about three inches long. There carve three eyes with the small knife, and by each eye make a notch by chopping with the large knife. Then cut a long, flat strip into the staff, from nine fingers beneath the last eye to nine fingers above the spearpoint. Speak then these words:
"Hear, ye thurses! Hear I shall carve staves and send bale to my foe. May his dreams be fearful; may he thrash all night. Bale be worked! Bale be wrought! Bale be woken and breathing, bale be woken and biding!"
With the small knife carve the curse in runes upon the long flat strip, and thereafter carve nine thurses. Thrust the staff into the earth, and point the eyes toward the dwelling of him you wish to curse.

1: you write with the gold pen your wish on the blank paper

An adapted formula of an old British antipyretic (a medicine that reduces fever). This, of anything a modern apothecary or an alchemist might know, is one of the surest formulas.

Chop the ingredients from Aloe to Camphor (and any optionals too) and mix them together.
* To use a kettle as a replacement for a water bath, you must continually heat the water to close-to-boiling temperature and take it off the fire until it cools a bit. Repeat for the needed amount of time.
Add the alcohol to the mix and put it in the water bath for 12 hours.
Add the Disulphate of Quinine and leave it all be until all of Quinine has dissolved.
Let the produced liquor cool, filter and put in the container of choice. Now, you have prepared Warburg's Tincture. Administer to the patient in small amounts two times a day.
This potion brings great vigour and stamina. However, it leaves the drinker exhausted.

Powder the dried tea leaves.
Put the powder into the kettle, pour water in it and heat. When the water starts to boil, start chanting:

After each chant, pour a bit of your chosen beverage into the kettle and throw in a pinch of cinnamon. Focus on the energy of fire, and channel it into the brew.
Repeat from chant to channel until there's only a quarter of liquid that was in the kettle before. Then get the kettle off the fire and put the liquid in a container of choice. Now, you prepared the brew of war.
