First enter into chakra meditation and make sure you are properly grounded. This is a good first step for any spell. Take the representation of your element,( a stone for earth, lit candle for fire, glass of water for water, air shouldn't need a representative since it surrounds us all), and place it infront of you, within a small circle. Enter a state of higher awareness so that you can feel the energy of the item in use. Reach out with your subtle body and pull the energy of the item out and form a large ball. Then, with your crown chakra's energy, reach out and create a bridge, through which you will instruct your thought form. Finally, press into it your instructions. Tell it to guard you both, and offer to allow it to borrow your energy to do so. At this time, you can offer any extra instructions you desire, but remember two things; one, its a new life. It knows very little, so keep it simple. Two, it can not go far from you without dying. When you are done, it will attach itself to your subtle body. This guardian can intercept some negative magic, block access to your body by spirits, and is only visible to the third eye. Be prepared to explain the odd growth on your subtle body to other witches.

As a warning, do not attempt this with the wrong element. They will be unpredictable. In order to dismiss the guardian, you can either reform the bridge with your crown chakra and bid it farewell, or, if you've disobeyed my warning and gained an unruly thought form, pull the creature into you and absorb the energy.

Say these words at night:

First lay the two towels on the floor. Say the following chant two times: "Mermaids of the ocean floor, I wish to be one of your kind. Please bring me into your world". Sing this song a few times.

An older spell was to use morning glory an aztec spell- symbol of the after life, and birth, death, life and rebirth, it dies at suset and is reborn in the morning so its called morning glory. First, take out a glass bowl, and fill it with water. This is used to gather energy for the spell, but if you don't want to use the water, choose another energy source. Then, have the water reflect the sun or moon, and say:

"Solar flare, Lunar mist I call on thee this day Bring forth your light, strength and power, so cast this spell I may."

(Imagine the sun/moon energy flowing into the water)

Like I stated above, this is completely optional. Now, to form the barrier. Draw upon your energy source, and send it towards your target. Once you have reached them, attempt to have your energy surround them in a bubble. Then, say:

"Light, Earth, Spirits strong Leave 's presence forever long Let their powers cripple, and fail with dismay I hereby banish your magic on this very day! So mote/might/may it be."

Imagine the bubble drawing the energy from your target and all around him, draining him of magical resources. Continue feeding the bubble/shield/wall with energy until you feel you can release them.

WARNING: Use this with caution, there are currently no counter-spells to stop this. Secondly, there is a possibility your target can breach the barrier if she/he is physically touching a powerful energy source which has greater energy than the barrier itself. Best of luck, and blessed be.
