#1 - Fused Oil

Water bath method.
You may need:

  • Potpourri
  • Vegetable oil
  • Double broiler pot
  • Coffee filters or paper towels
  • 2 cups water
  • Straining funnel
  • Clean glass bowl
  • Mason jar or ceramic container

    Pour the 2 cups of water in the bottom pot of the double broiler
    and put on a meduim heat. In the top pot of the double broiler
    ass the potpourri and the vegetable oil. (Make sure the oil covers the potpourri.) Once the water is boiling in the bottom half of the double broiler. Place the top pot on it and cover with lid. Keep the lid on the the oil and stir occasionally with a wooden spoon and bring the oil to a simmer for 30 minutes. Watch the oil to make sure it does not get to hot. (If it should not smoke or bubble, it can burn easily and will develope a acrid smell if it overheats.) Once the oil has simmered for 30 minutes, pull the pot off the heat and let cool to a room tempature before you strain (If you try to drain it hot you will get burned). Once the oil has cooled off where you can handle it, place coffee filters/paper towels in a straining position around the bowl and slowly pour the oil to strain the potpourri from the oil (You may have to strain it twice.) Once you have the oil seperated from the potpourri, pour the oil in the jar or ceramic container to store for use.

    #2 - Necromancer's Incantation

    This spell is to help summon spirits to you to aid you in necromancy.
    You may need:

  • 2 Black candles
  • 2 Blue candle
  • 2 Green candle
  • 1 White candle
  • Sage
  • Sweet Grass
  • Skull
  • Amethyst
  • Celestite
  • Rose Quartz
  • Spirit incense
  • And a mint flavored consumable.

    You may need:

  • 2 Black candles
  • 2 Blue candle
  • 2 Green candle
  • 1 White candle
  • Sage
  • Sweet Grass
  • Skull
  • Amethyst
  • Celestite
  • Rose Quartz
  • Spirit incense
  • And a mint flavored consumable.

    Arrange in this order from left to right in a slight curve with the center candles being farther then the end candles. Black, blue, green, white, green, blue, black. Place the incense in front of the white candle and place the skull behind the incense (If you have a white candle shaped as a skull, that works too). Smudge your altar with the Sage and Sweet Grass. Meditate in front of your altar as the smoke settles. Light candles one color at a time(Start with black, end with white). Place the stones in front of or around the skull and incense. Chant: ''Cerberus, curator of silenti, sino phasmatis venire contra mihi. Phasmatis, radix quod causa of vita, commodo adeo suffragium mihi in meus negotium.'' Meditate until you feel there are spirits around you. Once you feel them near, chant: ''Gratias ago vos Cerberus, pro tabellae silenti etc transeo. Gratias ago vos phasmatis pro iunctio mihi in meus nisus.'' And now proceed with your tasks. Note: The stones you use should be kept with you as often as possible. The skull should be kept either on your altar or near your bed.

    #3 - Meeting Spell

    This spell will ensure that all goes well when you meet someone. You don't have to be meeting them for the first time, you just have to meet with them.
    You may need:

  • 1 blue candle
  • 1 yellow
  • 1 red
  • 2 black candles
  • 2 white candles
  • Passion Flower or Strawberry Incense
  • Angelite/Celestite
  • Garnet/Moss Agate
  • Emerald/Lapis Lazuli/Malachite

  • 1 blue candle
  • 1 yellow

  • 2 black candles
  • 2 white candles
  • Passion Flower or Strawberry Incense

    To ensure that all will be well when you meet someone, follow these simple instructions. From left to right, place the candles in this order; white, black, red, yellow, blue, black, white. Light them from left to right. Now light the incense. Place the stones in a circle in front of you, in whatever order feels right to you, and meditate. Visualize the face of the person you're going to meet, visualize it being happy. Visualize yourself meeting the person and everything going well. As your confidence about meeting the person grows, chant;

    "Elen sila lumenn omentilmo."

    Translation: A star shall shine on the hour of our meeting. Let the candles and incense burn out. You may continue chanting for as long as you wish, repeating that line as many times as you feel you need to. Once you are done make sure to carry the stones you used with you when you go to meet that person.

    #4 - Oath to Nyx

    This spell is a method for which to request aid and declare loyalty to Nyx, Goddess of the Night.
    You may need:

  • Blessing oil
  • Altar
  • Full moon drawn with Nyx's blessing on an altar cover
  • Sage
  • Sweet Grass
  • Red rose petals
  • Black rose petals
  • 1 red candles
  • 1 blue candles
  • 1 purple candle
  • 1 black candle
  • 1 white candle

  • Red rose petals

    Smudge the altar, the candles, and yourself with the Sage. Place the Sage on the altar and let it burn out. If you have the flats of your altar facing the four directions then put the four candles on the altar with blue in the North, red in the South, black just behind the blue, and white in front of the red. Purple should be placed in the middle. If you have the corners of the altar facing the four directions then place black blue in the North, black in the East, red in the South, and white in the West. Still, purple should be placed in the middle. Light them in this order regardless of arrangement; Black, Blue, Red, White, Purple. Now chant the following; ''Nyx, great Goddess of the Night, husband and lover to and of Erebus, mother of Moros, Thanatos, Hypnos, Charon, Nemesis, and the Fates, I ask you to accept my loyalty and my love as your follower and servant. I ask for your protection and guidance, bringer of the night, I ask for your wisdom and blessings.'' Re-light the Sage if it burnt out and light up the Sweet Grass. Use the Sweet Grass to smudge the altar, the candles, the rose petals, and yourself. Place the Sweet Grass next to the Sage and let it burn out as you visualize Nyx sending you her protection, wisdom, guidance, and blessing. Once the Sweet Grass and the Sage burn out again let the petals drop from your hands to the gaps between the candles and the herbs as you chant: ''I am [your name]. I am a Priest/Priestess for my Goddess, you, Nyx, if you will have me. This is my request and these are my words. May this spell not reverse, my faith never waver, my love never weaken. Please have me and bless me as your servant.'' If you have a dream that you feel was sent by Nyx in which you are her follower then this spell probably worked, but be warned, if you cast this spell and do not show your love and faith through your actions you will suffer from the Curse of Erebus. So act wisely and only cast if you truly have love and faith for the Goddess of the Night.

    #5 - Love Salad Spell

    This spell enchants a salad to be a love salad.
    You may need:

  • 1 cup Mango
  • 1/2 cup Pine Nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup Pineapple
  • 1 cup Apple
  • 1 cup Peaches
  • 2 or 3 Bananas
  • 1 small jar Red Cherries
  • 1/2 cup Coconut (if desired)

    Make a salad of the listed ingredients, concentrating on the love you wish to share. Chant the spell incantation as you chop and slice the ingredients into bite sized pieces. ''Fruit of mango, fruit of pine, Let the one I love be mine. Fruit of apple, fruit of peach, Bring him/her close within my reach. Fruit of banana, fruit of cherry, Let his/her love for me not vary. As I work my magick spell, Warmly in his/her heart I dwell. I now invoke the Law of Three: This is my will, so mote it be!'' Mingle the fruits and place your hands on either side of the bowl, while visualizing you and your loved one building a life together. Serve the salad and enjoy.

    #6 - Anti-negativity Satchel

    This spell is to enchant a satchel to protect you from and ward off negative energy.
    You may need:

  • 1 tsp. dried Anise seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried whole Cloves
  • Dried petals of 1 small red Rose
  • 2 tsp. dried Rosemary
  • 6 dried Bay leaves
  • 9 inch by 9 inch square white cotton cloth
  • 6 inch purple cord or yarn

    You may need:

  • 1 tsp. dried Anise seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried whole Cloves
  • Dried petals of 1 small red Rose
  • 2 tsp. dried Rosemary
  • 6 dried Bay leaves
  • 9 inch by 9 inch square white cotton cloth
  • 6 inch purple cord or yarn

    Mix all ingredients well, then place into the center of white cloth in a pile. Bring each corner up to the center one at a time, in a clockwise motion. when all corners are up and touching, there will be four folds sticking out. In a clockwise motion, bring the corners of these folds to the center as well. Take the purple cord or yarn and wrap it around the cloth 3 times, just above the high spot of the herbs. Tie three knots, and let the ends hang.

    Empowering the Sachet Sit in a quiet place, preferably outdoors, and hold the sachet cupped in your hands. Close your eyes and visualize your energy traveling through your arms and into the sachet. Feel safe, feel protected. See yourself standing surrounded by a white light. See it coming from the sachet. Empower the sachet once a week, and make a new sachet once a month. Continue using the sachet until you feel that you no longer need it. All the ingredients can be found at your local grocery store except for the dried rose and the cloth and cord. Find or buy a red rose and hang it upside down by the stem for 3 days in a warm, dry place to dry.

    #7 - Hex Breaker Spell

    This spell will break the hex an enemy places on you.
    You may need:

  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 piece of yellow paper
  • 1 red pen
  • Scissors
  • 1 red cloth
  • Paprika or red pepper
  • 1 piece of red cotton

    While you are performing the spell, carry some rosemary at all times. Write the person's name on the piece of yellow paper. If you're not sure of the name of the person who's placing the curse on you, just write down the words ''enemy mine.'' Using the red pen, draw a figure of a doll shape around the name and then cut out the shape with your scissors. Lay the paper doll face down on the red cloth and sprinkle it with the paprika. Tie the red cotton around the middle of the paper doll and then wrap it up in the red cloth. Hold the wrapped doll in your hand tightly and repeat these words: ''Enemy mine your power is gone The hex is broken The spell undone The eye has been turned away Enemy mine you've gone away So shall it be from this day.'' Perform this spell for seven consecutive nights at midnight. On the next Sunday, unwrap the paper doll and tear it into nine pieces, then burn it. Scatter the ashes far from your home and throw the remaining red cloth into the garbage.

    #8 - Lock Spell

    This is a spell to dissuade would-be intruders from breaking into your home.

    The best time to cast this spell is on the night of a full moon. As the night commences, wait until you can be alone or undisturbed in your home. Drape the scarf around your shoulders and repeat the following chant: ''With this magic cloak the spell begins.'' The next thing is to take the baby rattle in one hand and the wooden stick in the other hand, and walk through every room in your home as you repeat the following words aloud: ''With the shake of the rattle, With the stroke of the wand, Let all unhappiness be gone.'' After you have done this, put down the rattle and stick and pick up the seven small stones. Close your eyes for a minute or two. Focus your mind on positive energy flowing towards you, and imagine that the stones in your hands are becoming warm and energized. Then put your Magic stones near the front and back doors of your home (Preferably where they won't be seen).

    This spell is good for ridding a room of negativity when Sage is not available.

    Light a cinnamon incense stick in the center of the room and walk to the north east corner or wall. Say: ''Earth and air, purify to good, blow away evil.'' Draw a pentagram of smoke and use the incense stick to stab through the center. Walk to the southeast corner of the room and say: ''Air and fire, blow away evil, burn away pain.'' Repeat the pentagram and stab the center, then walk to the southwest part of the room. Say: ''Fire and water, burn away pain, wash away fear.'' Repeat pentagram and stab. Walk to the northwest part of the room and say: ''Water and earth, wash away fear, bury all negativity, purify to good.'' Repeat pentagram and stab. Walk to the center of the room. Point incense stick to the sky and say: ''As Above...'' Now drop an ash from the incense and say: ''So Below''

Put a small violet or lavender flower in your pocket to help evoke a feeling of harmony, balance, and love. As you empower the herbs, chant: ''Betwixt and between, the chasm grew wide. Love for my friend went out like the tide. I need words to heal, To help me in this bitter endeavor. Though we've been at odds, Our love lives forever.''
