My name is Mary-Alice. I am 16. I'm from a line of very special men and women. My mother, Elisabeth, could see the future. She was killed for helping police capture a wanted murderer, when I was 10. Apparently, the murderer had an accomplice. Yes, I am very bitter about that.
Now I live with my father, Alexzander, my grandmother, Lucinda, and younger sister, Annamarie.
My father, sees the past, only letting his immediate family know this, he is still alive.
Lucinda, is a psychic medium, she sees dead things. She is also abnormally healthy for 72. Her parents, my great grandparents were strong Satanists. She quickly drifted away after terrifying encounters with demonic forces.
Annamarie is also a medium. She sleeps in my room, even though she has her own room. She has many disturbing nightmares. She will not be alone for more that a half hour. She is 13.
Together, they made one hell of a team.
I am the skipped one. I have nothing but the blood in me. I would like to improve, as my mother wanted me to. she said its a blessing, not a curse, she helped people, worked for the police at times. We won the lottery a lot.
After her death, I was silent. I had no friends, only family. Now I have two friends, Samantha, and her boyfriend Nicolas, and a boyfriend, Michael. We have no other friends.
The four of us has one thing in common. We lost a parent at a young age.
I have moved many times. I was born in Pittsburgh. I moved to Miami, Dallas, and Santa Fe. I was accustomed to warm places. Until I moved to Seattle. Ive been here 5 years. The longest I've ever stayed in one place.
