I was born with time its self, older than the dirt you step on everyday. Im there when you are born marking down the day, hour, min and sec you die. I wait in the dark watching as the sands of time fall, waiting for my time to snach the souls i have come for.
As an angel tasked for all eternity, I am also often portrayed as among the living but not of, as if i have no real connection with the humanity i both serves and terrify. You see me as a personification of the passing of mortal humans into the great beyond, a physical representation of the unknown and the gatekeeper to the afterlife.
I am the one that cause my victim's death, leading to tales that i can be bribed, tricked, or outwitted in order to retain one's life.(Hahaha. you wish) I get a bad rap. Simply by the nature of my job so i am perceived as dark and evil. The reality is, though many times death seems unfair, im neither good nor evil.
