deep question: afterlife

Give your opinions on the afterlife. Include things like if it is in the known universe, astral, or somewhere else? Is ther a deity ruling over the afterlife? Are there different areas, places in the afterlife that you believe. Really get into detail.

I have been taught the Christian belief, and despite my wondering from the path, my views are still the same on the afterlife. I wonder sometimes if everything really is what they say it is, but I am going to be safe rather than sorry on this one.
My belief that after you die, you are either sent to hell or heaven. I believe that there are different levels to accomidate various peoples' lives. Lets say that someone was a murderer, they would be sent to a circle of hell ment for others of the like. Rapeist, Liars even. Lets say that Someone was good in their life, and lead a moral life, yet didn't accept Jesus, God's son yet still God himself, there would be a level for them. My own personal belief is that somehow.. I don't know how.. you can fix your problem, absolve it, and be reunited with others in a fairer place. I mean.. you can't just die, and that be it? There's got to be someplace that you gotta go, and it might as well be with the one who created us. Whether you believe that it's God or 'someone else' then that is that.
I realize that not everyone here is a Christian, but there are so many misconceptions over the Christian walk, there are some fake ones out there, I've known plenty, but I just want to make it very clear it is not our right to judge them, let them be who they want to be. Their views are theirs and it should not effect anyone else, you know?

My belief from spiritual satanism is that satan may reincarnate you if he pleases up to three times until he feels it is ready for you to enter the ranks of hell. Although he may accept you without reincarnation. It depends how advanced you become.

I too have had a Christian upbringing, but I don't trust it much these days. I have studied Buddhism, and find it makes sense to me about the afterlife and how to live and interact with others in positive ways. After my dad died a year & a half ago now, it has helped me greatly. Also, I believe in the power of dreams. I had one about a month or 2 after his death that he was happy and in a place he loved--talking military stories with buddies who had also passed on. I also believe those who've passed on can be "felt" when you think of them, almost like ghosts of a sort. I have found countless times that when I grieve for him, he is by my side or just hugging me like he used to. Of course, I have been able to feel those who have passed on since high school to the present. It both scares & makes me happy. So that's what I believe.
