Hello there fellow readers, let me start off by saying this is my method. This is how I see it and use it. First off let me say that now days it's much easier to go to the store and get what you need or order it offline but for this I'm going to be teaching you how to do it yourself. First off lets start with a basic wand. First you will need a stick that stretches from the tip of your middle finger to a little ways past your elbow, Next you will need a knife and sand paper. Now you just need to use the knife to carve and strip the bark away until you have the nice white color of the wood left. Than you simply use the sand paper to make the wood smooth and easy to hold onto that way you don't get splinters. You can pretty much use this method to make whatever item you need. If you need a pot why not get an ax and use it to hollow out a tree stump? Simple and easy and it has your energy running through it because you made it.
I preffer this than buying the whole stoff online, imo when you diy the tools it gets more emotional meaning and that is important to create the atmosphere in a ritual.

Why would anybody need a wand? I've never had a wand. My witch teacher (a very wise, and learned, lady) also never had a wand.
Waving a wand about seems to me about the same as riding on a broomstick! Very "Harry Potter".
This is such a great idea and something I have never thought of before. I always think that when it comes to needing magical items it's better to go out and purchase them yourself but doing it this way seems a lot more effective as well as allowing you to save more money which is always a benefit to anyone.
Brysing lol i dont think is an obligation to use a wand but i guess is necesary to replace it with other object with the same symbolical meaning. But the wand for many people has a big psicological impact that is important in the magick work, for others maybe other object, what matters is the me meaning of the object for you.

Well,I did say "need". However, I am getting a little tired of Nuclear's "teaching" posts. It seems that he reads something, and then posts it as though it is his own idea. It gets a bit tiresome.
A wand is a tool, like many other tools used by people in their work. And there have been many posts on how to make one.
