I have some questions..

Hi! My name is Lique.

Lately, I have been watching The Vampire Diaries a lot, which also contains witches.
When I saw them doing spells, I looked up information fon the web, and came on this site.
I am VERY interested in becoming a witch and practacing, but I have a few questions that I'd like to have an answer on.

-Do the spells on this website really work? I tried a really easy one and nothing happened.
-What are the 'basics'you need to do or have to start practacing?
-Were you born as a witch? Or can you become one?
-If you are/want to be one does that mean that one of your parents has to be one (like in The Vampire Diaries)?

This might sound weird, but lately I have felt vey diffrent: Sometimes it feels like I can control my body, and sometimes I even feel my own blood flowing. I don't know if this is real, or that I am just paranoid.

The biggest question I have:
Is this all real? I mean, I remember ghost stories, cartoons, and bedtime stories about witches, but I have never thought that they'd actually exist.

Please help me because I am very interested in all of this.

Do real spells work? Yes, they do, sometimes, just as prayers are "answered" sometimes. A lot depends on the sincerity, and belief, of the caster! But you really need to know how to do it before you can cast a successful spell. And even then, it might not work.
Personally, I don't believe in spells; but many do, and they seem to have some success.

In my opinion, the spells are only the structure but it's the caster's connection with the universe that make it work.

Everyone's born with some connection with the universe, but people become good at it.

I don't believe that your parents need to be adept, although just like any parental influence, it can help you a lot if you're interested in something that your parents are experts at because they're usually just there and can teach you or you bond over it or something.

Most of the spells in the site don't work, for example, Resurrection Spells, Vampire Spells, Werewolves Spells, etc. You need to know the difference between reality and fantasy. Spells like Banishing Spells, Summoning Spells, Binding Spells, etc normally work.

Obviously your new, so soon you'll be able to partially know what Witchcraft, Wicca and Paganism really is.

And no, you don't need to have witch parents to be a witch, nor it's genetic or so. Everybody can be spiritual.
