Year and a day

I'm going to start my year and a day in a 11 hours. So exited!
Does anyone have any advice for me?
And how was your year and a day experience?

It feels so amazing that I can finally start the Year and a Day after two years!

Year and a Day isn't a bad concept for the framework of your foundation as it's meant to expose yourself to each portion of the cycle of seasons. Where holidays come into play will depend largely on what religion and/or culture one adheres to. If you are using the commonly known holidays, than I urge you to understand that they come from different cultures and try to understand what they were like in their original context. For example, Samhain is a Celtic Pagan holiday, while Yule is based on Scandinavian Pagan holidays (in Iceland, it is called Jol with an accent mark SoM won't let me display).

I actually took a couple years of just study before I began attempting most of my practices, sprinkled in with keeping a flow of capabilities I'd already been naturally attuned to. That pace often works for me and I think it's really important to understand that we all go at different paces and you'll figure out your own. Ultimately, go with your gut.
