What happens to our soul if we commit suicide or get murdered, I know that suicide is a sin in other religions but what Pagans or Wiccans, Or simply witches.?
Suicide is not a "sin" in Wicca. Wicca does not adopt the whole concept of sin. In some cases, such as incurable disease with intractible pain, suicide might be considered appropriate if the person in question has no other way out. However, in most other cases one would hope that an alternative to suicide could be found.
In Wiccan belief, no matter how one dies the soul goes to the Summerland where it can rest and reflect on its prior life and from which it can be reborn when it is ready to do so.
well i hope you're not contemplating murder/suicide.
the majority of pagan paths see murder and suicide as a choice, not a sin a god will punish you for, it is your choice to do harm to yourself and/or others, so if there's any punishment, it's usually the result of karma.
with Wicca it's against the rede to do harm, there's no real punishment, it's just a rule Wiccans live by, but coupled with the believe that what you do returns three times it causes many wiccans to stop and think before acting.
if you for whatever reason choose to end your life, i feel the 'punishment' would be having to watch over your loved ones as they grief. i personally don't believe in instant reincarnation, but if that's a thing, you might have a loved one kill themselves and you have to go through the pain of loss. same with if you murder someone, in your next life you could be murdered. this is a belief some hold, but i find it's too cruel of a cycle to be a thing. [just some food for thought really]
as for you killing someone, it would haunt your actions until you seek your punishment and balance the karmic scales. if you were killed, again, it depends, but i feel it would be such an unexpected, fearful situation that the energy would cause your spirit to stay behind instead of being reincarnated. perhaps it would be for a short while so you can come to terms and say goodbye to your loved ones, but i don't think you would be killed and be reborn no big deal. i mean, maybe, you never know, but i feel the energy and emotion surrounding such a situation would leave an imprint.
There are those who do not believe in an afterlife for individuals, at all. Some believe that, no matter how one lived or died, that their spirit (soul, essence, whatever) returns to the 'all,' from which a part is also portioned to each new-formed living being.
Some believe that there is a collector of souls, and that life was created for the purposes of collecting spiritual energy, giving parts of it sentience, and seeding these beings with the idea of individuality and an afterlife, so that after death this sentience seeks a supposed god and heaven, leading them to the collector of souls to be devoured.
The fact is that nobody actually knows. Belief in consequence for suicide varies by tradition and individual belief. Having a different belief does not necessarily mean something different happens after the transition through death; we simply do not know.
In the Babylonian perspective they say suicide and murdered victims or a horrible death become the emkimu staying earth bound and start attacking people at random if not offered food or drink. Also they can attach their selves to family members making them ill and have nightmares.
