I understand, again i don't practice but do you not think they would be overflowed with "High priest/ess" Roleplayers who want to learn the High magicks.
@DarkSun: I mean they I feel insulted a bit that "High Magick" is not actually a section in SoM it is kinda disappointing and I came here to learn High magick, I do not want to learn Wicca because I am more of a formal fellow than a "common-sensed" one.
You're insulted that Higher Magic isn't a section? Perhaps I can put some logic to it that you could or would not appreciate...
How often do you see people more interested in higher magic pass through these forums? Check out how small the Higher Magicks coven is. I believe the goal of any website is to provide for supply and demand. The majority of the members here are interested in the following, astral projection as its the most popular form of projection (you also get to fly), wicca being the stereotypical witch related religion, tools such as wands, quick, free spells, herbs to make them prettier, and misc topics including how to turn into a werewolf.
That my friend, is how it works. What the majority of the members want, will somehow appear on the website.
I'm not saying high magic isn't important, I'm just saying we have a coven for it, and after being here for a few months I'd imagine you would have at least run into their Priest, AwakeTooLong.
And if something on a website offends you, then feel free to leave, or at least be smart enough to search the entire website for what you're looking for before making a "point" about it not being here.
I.e surprised you never thought to check the groups page, that's where all the action is. ;P
There is a 'High Magick' section in the forums. The fact there are those that can not find it leads me to believe that those looking for it are not aware of what "High Magick" entails.
High Magick simply covers what many know to be "Ceremonial Magick" which is a practice that not too many people follow anymore. Though High Magick also includes Spheres and the Qabalah (Qabbalah, Kabbalah, etc). Many practitioners don't study the Qabalah much anymore since it is hard for many to understand, and even fewer new generations have much to do with it as the study of it is more intense than the sheer basics. It involves the tree of knowledge and when used properly can help gauge your learning and show you what you need to work on.
Ceremonial Magick can be found in Shamanism and Witchcraft groups such as The Order of the Golden Dawn. Here on SoM look under "Other Spells Discussion" & "Misc. Topics". ;)
Pacholo im also interested in High Magick! let be united, maybe some day we can grow into a solid group. Personally im interested in Chaos Magick. i which the could be a coven for that.
