Concentration is totally different than having Magick in your blood,or at least I feel like it is,I have a long line Of Native Americans in my past,so some would say I have magick in my blood. In fact when I first started to practice magick, many things didnt come easy for me,and it took great concentration and focus on my part to acheive the goals I had set.So having as they say "Magick in your blood "is no guarantee of success.Maybe it gives you a slight advantage, maybe not?I would suggest reading all you can,and developing your skills of concentration and meditation. Then when things come together for you, youll feel as though you have magick in your blood wether you do or not

Having magick in the bloodline is definitely real, but that doesn't mean that anyone else can't do magick. I don't think the magick literally runs in the family's blood, but it is the way souls are grouped when being reincarnated. So the magical families could be dead relatives in their family tree because your soul sometimes is grouped with the same souls it knew in a past life. So souls with magical abilities are grouped together forming a magick bloodline. My family is one of these. As far as i can trace it back it comes from my dad's grandfather, not that far huh? My dad, myself, my great grandfather, and possibly my sister all have the power of forethought. But, I'm the only one that does spells and I'm just as successful at them as everyone else. So i think that having magick in you're blood means that you have a special abilities, not that your better at spells.

I believe when you come from a family that embraces the craft, it makes it easier for the children to learn at a young age, and be open about it. Too many times parents dont listen to the children and chaulk it up to "an imaginary friend"..or "stop your lying" Being from a family with a bloodline, I have found that expressing oneself, does come easier. Learning comes easier, but actually doing, well that always takes practice..As far as putting things in your body and having them affect your magic, Yes they do..If you try to do something with some drinks or mind altering drugs in you the results will not be the same as if you were sober. As a rule, I was taught never to cast under the influence, You must always keep alert to your surroundings, especially as far as spirit work is concerned.. Meditating may be a different story though.....different herbs, and such are known to enhance your experience..

sure but if I knew that they would think I'm a weirdo, would I be better off not letting them find out?
