@Lilywolf6

If I believe that Russian cacti were taking Yeager bombs and took pot shots at Britney Spears in my bathroom sink, would that make it true?

@awaketoolong

Where exactly would that midpoint be? I would assume it would likely teeter on the benefits of mediation rather than igniting fires with ones mind, wouldn't you think so too? And also are you talking about hypothetical physics are actual theorized physics, because there is a huge difference between them.

@Wizhard

What do you mean us mortals, are you saying that there are deities, demigods, mythological creatures or demons hiding this information from us?

First of all I believe it would be helpful for us to remember that Wicca, Paganism, ect are at their roots religion or a way of life. Most religions as I understand them are a way for us to put our lives into a perspective that suits our thinking and needs. A way for us to gain a new way of understanding the universe around us and putting it into perspective. A way for us to fit moral limits for ourselves into a chaotic and unrestrained existence. Wicca is a religion that raises the importance of nature and the cycles of its life into higher esteem. This is the basis. Ritual is done to commune with the God or Goddess just like prayer or meditation in other cultures. So if you want to look at it through history's eyes the idea of magick or witch craft being associated with the pagan religions of the old world is a very new thing. As far as magick is concerned I believe that with all things this day and age it is left up to the view points of the practitioner as to wether or not these things are true. Their is no way to technically prove that my rain dance caused it to rain on such and such a day. So therefore the argument over wether it works or not becomes moot and takes away from the true purpose of the thing and that is to learn more about ourselves and the world around us.
