Also, the Catholic Church's rituals are simply magick! When those Christians invoke the holy spirit and go into trance thats magick!Light up a candle and sprinkle holy water thats magick!
This is a hot button topic but food for thought .... how many books are out there considered to be the word of God? Many traditions and religions. I was raised Catholic and I wont even get deep into it
In my very own opinion I personally dont believe any of the books that tell you what God wants. There are simply to many differences between religious beliefs for it to be an easy pill to swallow that one can be called the "true word of God" I believe we each walk our path, most try to live their best life and at the end one is judged ultimately.
Hold on there Spencer, Christians and Catholics are technically not the same thing. Catholicsxare the ones who ordered the deaths of all those "Witches". Christians are different. Christ said we are to love all people, Wiccans included! Don't get confused.
I understand that not all Christians are bad, but why were so many people tortured and murdered under the name of God during the crusades and before? If Jesus teaches love, then why is it written in the Bible that murder and genocide are ok?

Why were so many Christians killed by the hands of Roman pagans for pure entertainment? Why was Christianity outlawed and punishable by death in Pagan ruled cities?
If we want to bring up history...let's bring up ALL history. Not the stuff we pick and choose from.
Arch enemy. Because they were so much better than everybody else that they attracted greater evil and were consumed by it instead of martyring themselves as jesus did because they were regular men in the end. If we hold ourselves to such high standards that no one can keep up and achieve it then are we not like jesus? Alone and expecting more out of everybody else? Lessons of the bible. Dont get me started. Lol. I cannot go into a church without sobbing. The sorrow is so overwhelming. As can be the joy. I know but it has never been real enough for me and far more dangerous and unfullfilling and so much male domination ultimately. Catholic, baptist, morman, christian, jehova witnesses (sorry grandma) i have explored many paths and did read the bible from cover to cover one year because i was being forced to go to church with my children held over my head. Then forced to have an abortion or else loose them. I still respect christians though. My husband is one. As long as they carry the message of their religion
