Ah, well that's okay. ^-^ I'm open to learning all about different ways of magic and how it works. You're just helping me learn. I've heard about fluff, but I didn't know it was also with weather spells. Now I know which spells to try and avoid
Weather spell are a bit controversial. Some people believe that they can petition their gods or goddesses to make it rain/snow/etc. But other's believe it lies in the area of being fluffy.
I would suggest you read up a bit more on what magic is and how it works. You may also want to try studying different cultures and practices that interest you.
I was just stating a few popular beliefs Brysing. Not my own. Anyway, as I've read, most people don't try for near impossible feats such as that, haha.
What I found works for me is meditation before and after spell casting. Before to get my mind focused on what I'm about to do, and after to take my mind off it. In my experience, getting too excited about the spell afterwards draws energy out of it, and weakens my results.
Well who truly knows.. The powers or magic each of us possesses , if it be from our heritage or our culture.
I bought and Indian Rain stick and I shook it real hard I said "rain be true, rain have might, let it rain a lot tonight"..
and along cam " Katrina".
Be careful what you chant for.
Might make you feel guilty for a long time.
Just how and why do you think that he didn't make it rain. Weather spells work well, I have made snow flakes fall in July, not many and never reached the ground, but was visible to the thirty people that was there at the time. I have also stopped rain in an area. No that hard if you can communicate with the Elemental fokes.
Generally, you can know if it was your spell that changed the weather if you look at what the weather is supposed to be like before you cast the spell. If there was a very small chance of rain then is was probably you who did it. Otherwise, it was just regular ole' weather.
I know that weather spells work if cast properly but they are not easy. I know they work because when I went camping it was supposed to rain the entire time. I cast a sun spell every morning and it was clear skies the entire time.
So far, the easiest ones for me are simple spells to reduce fevers. That's how I started, my brother kept getting high fevers and I would cast a spell to help. They were only effective for a day though.
