Tycoon, did you know that human beings are the smartest animal species on the planet? Yes, humans are animals no matter how much we pretend not to be. Would you rather be a worm that would die after a few dies? Or a wolf that would only live like ten or twelve years? The only species of animals that I know have longer life spans are parrots because some species of parrots live up to be one hundred years old. Be thankful for being human.
The word lycan comes from the Greek word lycanthropy which refers to the transformation of a human being into a wolf but can also generally refer to a human who transfers into any animal form. Transformation of humans into animals have been a part of human cultural myths for thousands of years. These are stories that are meant to help teach right from wrong or inspire others from taking the wrong path. A werewolf can exist on the astral plane but there is no evidence that they have existed physically on this plane or can be brought to this plane physically.

Galapagos Tortoise up to 177 years,
Red Sea Urchin up to 200 years,
Rougheye Rockfish up to 205 years,
Bowhead Whale up to 211 years,
AND the Ocean Quahog over 400 years.
So Parrots have 'short lives' compared to all of those animals. ^^
the "evidence" is people seeing the creature and surviving, but they are called crazy and those who do get hair or something it might show up as the person and if they question them they wont amite it cause they A. dont want to be put in a lab to be studied or B. dont want to be throwened in jail for there probably uncontrollable urges to eat as the wolf or they wont remember
I honestly believe that this entire topic has gotten out of hand and should have been stopped at page one. The physical ability to transform a human body into that of a wolf's is entirely impossible. The actual medical reasoning for this has already been explained. You can only achieve this 'transformation' to a wolf in the astral plane. Even then it is only in spirit/of the soul. And to the person above me, what you are doing is coming up with entirely ridiculous situations to substantiate your theory of some sort of 'true werewolf' in this world. I have no more to add.
I can't resist adding that anyone who thinks that babies don't scream when they're growing, is clearly not a parent. That is all I have to say on this matter. XD
