Spells/PotIons Beginners?

I want to practice my magik. I have recently witnessed the passing of my grandmother. Are there any spells for clairvoyance?? It can't be a huge ritual because my parents aren't aware that I am practicing witch craft.

When people think ritual, they think a huge altar and a bunch of exprensive tools at midnight. A ritual can be done in any sacred psac,e which you create yourself, and doesn't have to be "huge"

Most rituals you can make your own. If you do know the basics, create one. Do the ritual on a Monday, for psychic abilities, and probably during the new to full moon phase, because you want to gain something. Try to encorperate the colors silver and white, and maybe purple. Also try to encorperate the moon, i.e. Ask the moon for help, maybe even do an esbat ritual. Remember to cast a circle and call the quarters, if you do, which you should. Find a candle to represent your intent and bless and charge it with your intent, raise some energy, light it, and envision yourself gaining what you want. For psychic abilities, you also want to open up your chakras and do lots of meditating, at least 10 mins a day.

Some begginers should want to start with Herbology which is the study of the magical and healing effects of plants as an example Cherries help relieve pain in gout and other cramping areas

This is good advice. I like to try and practice more spell casting but I don't want to just cast them for no reason. So I get very little practice at all. Your sugestion about healing nature and things like that sound like a simple way to practice.

You must have intent when you cast and you can't and shouldn't cast a spell just because you want to.

When I started, I called my spirit animal. I would call it every day and learn. One day it didn't appear. Then in a dream she said learn some spells and cast magick. I still saw her twice a week. So then I started learning meanings of herbs. Like:

Allspice: is an Excellent Luck Herb.
Basil: Excellent for Love, Exorcism, Wealth, Flying and Protection.
Clove: Good for Protection, Exorcism, Love and Money.

You can create your own spells with these sorts of things.
