Why do some of you feel the need to force someone to love you?

I was with my ex for 10 years and I have known him for many more. We may have broken up but we are the best of friends. I refused to do any magick to get him to come back to me. We were not meant to be together as lovers yet we are meant to be together as best friends. How is it?

Then there are those of you that think it is all fine and dandy to do love spells that forcing someone to go against their own free will is no big deal. Think about this for a minute please.

Say things were turned around. Meaning you wanted nothing to do with your ex that you only wanted to move on with your life. Ok?
Then your ex thinks well I want you back and I do not care about what you want it is all about what I want. So this means it is perfectly ok for me (the ex) to do whatever I think I must. So I cast a spell on you to force you to come back to me. I make you go against what you and your heart truly want because I only care about what I want. Your now under my spell and there you will stay.

Tell me now How would you know for absolute certainty that the ex is with you because they truly love you or are being forced and blinded because you put your needs above theirs and used magick?

I sure hope I have not wasted my time by saying this. I honestly hope it helps you see how truly wrong it is to force anyone to fall in love with you using magick. Now that being said move on with your life and maybe try a spell like "Bring My Soul Mate Near"

SueLearning, it is because I know he is the one for me. When we broke up, I never experienced that type of pain in any other break up I've went through. I literally can't get him off my mind, even though it's been long over and seeing him with other people hurts me so much that sometimes I feel like I just can't take it anymore. I love him, and I can't stop loving him. I wish I could some times, just to make it easier to deal with, but I can't. I have tried using spells to move on and heal my broken heart, but nothing has worked. So I need him back. I know he still had feelings for me, since he has told me, but he refuses to start anything with me again, incase he hurts me, but honestly, he's hurting me more by pushing me away. That's why I need a spell to get him back. I have tried talking to him, I have tried for far too long to see how things work out. Nothing. I can't lose him. I need him more than you know, and unless you live in my shoes, you won't know.

Well sorry I shall comment about free will as you shouldn't take anyone free will away. We are all given free will & by taking someone free will away your doing harm to another person! Your ex comes back to you as he knows you, you area available. If he loved you, he would be with you. It's not fair what he is doing to you as he's messing with your head, making you think theres a chance. Giving you a bit of hope, then snatching it away. Friends don't do this to others, as every time he gives you that bit of hope he's breaking your heart, when he takes it away. That is not love! A love spell is not true love it's a delusion. Everything comes back three times, three time good or three times bad what ever our intentions. So if your taking free will, your doing wrong, so it will come back upon you! Lets take that horrid film the craft for example, the girl in that cast a love spell on her ex & what happed? He nearly rapped her. You need to cut ties with him, till you cut ties, you can't move on. You have to move on for your own sanity. As this situation really is not helping you, your hurting. Till you deal with this hurt & pain, you can't come to happiness & true love. I wish you well.

You are under a spell your self that needs to be addressed you want him is the spell you havn't got to look far for a cure.

yes i agree with Arise! You've hit the nail on the head *English saying* Yes you are under his spell as you are there, when ever he calls, when ever he wants you. When he does not you are rejected. Don't allow anyone to do this to you! You are worth more! You need to work upon this, on your self esteem, self confidence & finally self love. Once you have respect & love for yourself you can be loved truly! He has not respect for you, it's abuse! Your allowing it because your under his spell. Be stronger & break the ties, then get some help with your self esteem & in time your feel much better & will find true love.

I don't require a love spell, anymore. He asked me back out a few weeks after I posted this and we've been very happy together, since. Thanks for your help and advice, everyone. Happier that I didn't use a spell, at least I know this is real :)
