I agree. I think our consciousness are connected on a Universal level. Some people are more intune with the Universes Consciences then others. I dont think its easy to obtain that type of Enlightenment. But its deffinately possible.
The first step toward that kind of enlightenment is the acknowledgement of such. As for the restit is work but through meditation it's at least any easy concept to grasp.on another thread I mentioned the voices I hear at close to bedtime as I inadvertantly drift into that plane. Surely this happens to more people than even realize there is a universal concious. I can even remember it when I was I a child, but it did not begin happening again until I knowingly opened my third eye chakra. and even shortly after, I'll admit it was somewhat alarming, and made me question my own mental state. Lol.
It is actually relatively easy to enter into a state of pure conciousness which leads to enlightenment, but due to the simplicity people often disregard it, or when enlightenment happens they do not realise it and the moment and experience goes lost. Kundalani meditation is one of the quickest roots, but trust me when i say it's not the easiest for there are risks involved if not done right, pretty much like any high magick ritual..
Speaking of, is kundalini meditation still considered as such without the use of mantras? That is to say I have been practicing this type of meditation for years without having identified sounds with my chakras. Or different hand motions for that matter. I have always just done as my hands thought the should. Sometimes palm up to receive energy and sometimes palm down to give, and sometimes with the thumb touching the tips of some of the other fingers to focus the energy better.
Last night I used the mantras and was able to gain focus much more quickly when I realised the pitches would actually resonate through the chakras, thus making me more quickly aware of their vibrations. I am still not compelled to remember certain words to use in mantras, nor to try and change my practice with my hands.
hand movements do not matter much, the mantras only help to increase the effect but it can also be achieved through sheer focus, your mind and soul is all you need, but, what you are expereincing is only the tip of the iceberg as far as kundulani is concerned, work on opening the path along your spine to a much larger size, the more effort you put in the more you will get out ;)
As I said, I only ever used my hands as a reflection of what myself was doing.
As for the mantras, I am more comfortable with just the sheer focus I have always used, but thought interesting enough to note that sounds really do resonate through the chakras.
If anyone has lost track, I promise this does pertain to the universal conscious we were speaking of before. For even it can only be accessed through opening the chakras through meditation, and learning to let the mind be detached from your own agenda.
Very well put, what we are basicly doing is just underlying and expanding on the theory behind accesing it. i understand the hand movements, i use a similar tech as a power move to draw in or push out more energy, so i know it's effect ;) I can post all the necessary mantras or sounds to be vibrated if it will help, in the beginning you may feel slightly silly, till you see the effect and start to grasp the power of vibrations and their effects on everything both within and outside of us..
I actually found it very easy through simple experimentation.. As I said I didn't use any particualr word. At least past an ohm. I started with a low pitch. As audibly low as I could get. If you have an already bassy voice you should be able to find a pitch that vibrates your root chakra. It almost progressed octavely for me except the third eye chakra and the crown chakra seemed a half-octave higher.
This is just what I experienced personally.
