@Moonbeam I also am a Lokean and I personally have not been working with Loki for a long time however your view on things are a little confusing. I agree that yes Loki could have a anger toward Odin for the binding that would have been normal for what he went through and when you connect to him in that state that is mostly known as the world breaker. However Loki has many faces not just one or two that you can connect to him with. Also Odin and Loki are blood brothers and Gods, that dont carry with them the same grudges and emotions like humans do because they are on a way higher level. I have worked with both of them at once and they did not have that feel to them at all, however that is my view. Also stating that you will be tested your first time when working with him is not true as well as saying everything is a joke to him. Loki comes to people in many different forms and they will connect to many different aspects of him. Saying what he did to one person does not mean he will do it to the next, after all Loki is the God of change.
I personaly have not worked with odin deeply for over three years but the few chances i do are short even now a days... But I due keep to what loki and odin said that they will drink together. when i offer wine i offer wine not just to loki but to odin. I feel as loki respects odin. yes there might be toimes he dislike him or even hate. but loki has many forms and i assure you there is a part of looki that loves Odin the all father.
I agree with fairywolf. Loki is definitely bitter about some things but not hate-filled towards Odin. They are blood-brothers. They have both been honored together before. As mentioned above the pouring of half an offering for Odin and half for Loki.
my dietys are norse and i pay homage to odin loki and freyja being folower of all 3 im sure the coolest gods ever arent going to be upset i you offer to them all, its nothing personal between you and them,,, in any mythology/beleife theres tons of gods that hate each other..... so that being said id be more worried about a norn....lol... happy huntings
" Losing everyone you ever loved ", or "Leaving you bleeding on the sidewalk", is absolute BS.
Loki does everything for a reason, whether we see it or not. Nor, is he so violent.
To the OP, don't believe everything you read, especially the link you posted. I have no love for that guy, or the "supposed" friends he has ...
As previously stated, you can absolutely worship both Odin and Loki.
I would suggest making your intentions known, whether you both at each ritual, or either one at certain times.
I just re-read this, and the post about Loki being Odins hatchet man is soo true.. Their totally partners like that, and the whole putting Baldr in Helheim , is a neat idea.. I like this much more the 2nd time, I have however read the Eddas... I still say and do" you pour half for Loki and half for Odin...
