I am very basic when it comes to spells, which at this point I had decided to leave spell work alone in case it backfires. Most spell work I have done is protection spells not offensive. The kinds of spells I know how to do is sigil casting by fire. I have small knowledge of binding but never tried to do it myself. A friend had told me to try to bind it to a quartz crystal I have. If you have no experience in binding or dealing with spirits in general, you should seek help.
Do not bind a spirit to anything if you do not know how to do it. Specially not a spirit that has already taken control over your body. If you do not have experience and you fail, the spirit will be mad and things will get a thousand times worse . You should try cleansing your self and your home. That will work for at least a day or two. If he comes back, try to banish it, another option, is to put salt in all your windows and doors in your home.
When it comes to binding spirits, you should bind it to something that can not break, a puppet per example, like said above. If you bind it to a jar and it breaks, the spirit will be free.
Only bind it if you're sure it will work. Do not try to do so if you haven't done it ever. If it were to be in another spirit that hasn't even touched you but means harm, it would be a different situation but on this one, he already took over your body, meaning he can get to you in a easy way.
Do you have friends experienced in these kind of things?
If yes, talk to them and ask for help. I'm sure they'll give you a hand. ( A close friend that will believe your words instead of thinking that you gone crazy ).
If not, you can always try to go to a " spiritual house " or a pagan shop and ask if there's anything you can use. Maybe try to explain your situation, I'm sure they will give you a better explanation and some items you could use to get rid of the spirit.
Note: I'm only giving this advice because if it were here they would help, i do not know how it works over where you live.
If however none of those are options for you, try what I've mentioned above. Try the sage and salt first, if that does not work you can mail me and I'll explain what you can do.
there are 2 friends i am waiting to message me back. One of them practices on the left hand path but a good chance he wont help me because he does not like interfering with other peoples problems. same person who told me to bind it to the quartz. The other is a lot more right hand but likely won't take me serious because she probably thinks I am already crazy, unless I prove it to her somehow. I know of one shop in town but a friend had told me it is unreliable. I will likely have to try your other methods
It sounds like a real problem. I've kind of had the same issues with some spirits. Sounds like a bad entity with some evil intentions that pretends to be your friend but really wants to hurt you. Remember that you are the witch, and you really are stronger than the spirit if you train your mind properly. Be polite, but be firm. If it tries to mess with you or take control of your body, tell it a simple and firm, "No." I like to tell spirits when they mess with me, "You are dismissed," as a firm goodbye. You are stronger than it. Imagine a shield around you repelling it. Imagine pushing it away. Use some protective stones or herbs such as obsidian, onyx, jett, tiger's eye, salt, St. John's wort, mullein, black pepper, or sage. Sometimes you can reason with a spirit and talk it into leaving you alone. Remember to stay calm and in charge. Never panic. Good luck!
