Ok so how is fiction make reality when it is a lie? That makes absolutely no sense to me.
Yes many have actually researched this subject, and there is a reason why it is represented the way it is. True there are many mysteries but as far as a blood sucking immortal vampire with exaggerated strengths and capabilities have thus far been disproved.
Why do people want to be vampires rather than just wizards or something? And how is being a vamp grand rather than trivial, since people want it for trivial reasons?
Spells that are used in TV shows are not real. Also, you cannot create a vampire, just like you cannot become one through a spell.
However, I do believe in the existence of vampires. I just don't think that spells would work on them. They are not like humans, their energy and their bodies are different.
So, to answer your question, no.
Hello magus. You should be warned that both all caps and those kinds of claims are grounds for gagging (made so you cannot post or chat, just look). The mods here take the rules pretty seriously, so be careful.
As for your claims, I obviously challenge them. Do you have a source which agrees with your claims of undead vampires?
Those who spout fluff are marked as such. These people actually serve a great purpose of teaching the young how to spot and avoid the fluff. Bewared that those who try to lore you in with fluff are just trying to feed off of your naiveness. They do this in the hopes that through their followers they can make their fluff a reality. Sadly it does work to some extent and this is how fluff cults are formed.
Research and cross reference all materials you read. Know your sources and be sure they are actually reliable ones. If something does not sound right it probably is not and it would be best to cross reference this information.
Vampires are creatures of myth they do feed off of others and there are different types. Some are dead and some are living depending on your definition of the words.
Personally I think that Catholics are vampires due to their belief that they are consuming the actual blood of their god(Christ) who was once in a human form as they receive holy communion. Most Christians take communion as a symbolic ritual however this is not the case for all. It really does come down to the way you perceive things as to the reality behind the myth.
Well said Kts. I thought that was an especially interesting approach on Catholics. I'm also one who tends to look at a myth and see what sort of realities are behind it. And thanks for demonstrating to all the relative new members of the community about fluff and how to handle it. I hope more members read your post just to get their head straight.
