A little Demonology 101

To get a better idea on demonology you got to look at all the
aspects it comes from. Demon or daemon is derived from the Greeks "daimon"
and means "benevolent"during Homer's time. However when in English its
used for malicious spirits. When actually looking into the origins there's
a lot of Eastern traditions that follow into them. Most have the good, bad
and neutral aspects, however the Medieval Christianity just took away from
the good and neutral aspects. Then you have the fallen angelic legends
and Nephilism as well. The Eastern traditions are probably some of the closest
lecture you can probably find on them with less of one way point of view on them
As that supposely being the cradle of life and has the oldest civilizations on the
planet. But keep in mind that all civilizations has their own stories on demons and other
various spirits. Do your own research on those and go from there and draw your own conclusion.
The most important part of dealing with any spirit is to know their energy patterns and
knowing your own. So if it gets too bad you can always banish it and have enough energy to do so.
To learn to read energy patterns, you got to start work with chakras and learn your own energy.
By that learn how to control it's flow, how to center and balance yourself, and how to manipulate it.
Without that you can not work on expanding your own levels of consciousness You need this to understand
the difference between an actual demon and a shadow. Which brings me to my next point.
Shadows are the lower level malevolent spirits that are more of a shell of what once was.
They can be in theory anything that's a fragmented soul to a thought form that got neglected.
Keep in mind im not referring to the shadows that come from a person's mind to create another persona.
I am talking about the pure old malicious creatures that come from void and are of hatred. However
there are some theories that they are shells of their former selves. They're neither angelic or demonic
because they got caught in the crossfire of the fallen angels. So it goes back to being from void and are
empty entities. Which reverts back to void in the process.
These spirits are vicious tricksters and more times often than not will lie
and try to pass of they're of demonic nature. And that's when the energy patterns come in
handy. A demons energy is really dense and has some "twilight" to them. They are of dark energy
However it's more of a mixture of light and dark to make a twilight. Like sunrise and sunset for a better
example of a twilight of which im referring to and not the movie. While shadows may come off as big
and scary darkness they are pure darkness. And they're empty. While demons have some what of a life to them.
Meaning they have more of a personal flare to them and do not make big promises that require a pact. The big
clue into most spirits is if they're asking for something then it's probably not the real deal.
They're known to do the same, as passing off as angelic beings as well. In my experience which is a very long time
Most spirits do not ask for anything other than respect and to be heard. Demons can be some the best teachers
in the ethereal planes Just listen to them. Hope this helps. It's just a small tid bit but useful in exploring
the realm of demons.

Well understand it's part of their job to protect heal and etc. They're not out to eat souls or anything like that lol. Quite honestly in my experience they just want you to reach full potential and help with the deeper understanding of things.

No they're still mainly Neutral. the christian point of view is what made them into something more scary than they really are. But mind you that goes for angelic beings as well however they can be far worse than any demon especially when they're in a bad mood.
