I have researched Wicca and witchcraft for many years now. Honestly, I believe in the concepts, and the general ideology of the craft, such as balance and not forcing your will on others, etc, however, I have not seen it practiced before. I have tried a few things, but I suppose because I am a skeptic, they haven't worked as the instructions say. I joined this site to see just how much of my reading is actually true, or if it's simply publication meant to intrigue.
If I offend anyone by being a skeptic, I apologize in advance. There is just something very important I need, and if spells and the craft claim to be able to help, I need to know for sure.

Welcome to the site. :) I hope you can find some interesting things to look into here, regarding your areas of interest.
Personally, I think a dose of skepticism can be healthy. You shouldn't just accept everything you hear. Rationality and logic play a large part of things. Having said that though, belief in what you are doing has impact (I believe) into whether it necessarily will work the way you intended or not.
Welcome Vixon!
I agree with personified. You have to still remember what is logical in magic, or else you will just be fluffy. There are lots and lots of really helpfull spells here, but some are so fake I want to cry. It's good to be a bit skeptic, just don't let it get in the way of your magic.
Welcome! Don't worry about being skeptical, I am VERY skeptical. Just as long as you try to open yourself to things you believe may be possible. Also, I must warn of the large amount of fluffs who will claim to do impossibilities. These people will most likely not increase your openness to the Craft.
Welcome to the site! I have been doing magic for about a year now, and to tell the truth I was skeptical for a while. I tried spell after spell but none seemed to be working. After one of them actually worked I began to believe alot more and I even used a spell to find my soulmate. Because of magic I am now engaged and could not be happier. So my advice to you is to keep on trying until something works because it really changes your aspect on things. Best of luck to you!
Thank you Rhea and Aqua. I knew I wasn't the only one, but it's nice to hear someone say "I wasn't always sure about it either." It's a moral booster ^_^
Rhea--in regards to the "fluff", seeing spells from Charmed and Practical Magic and The Craft on here and many other websites certainly did bum me out, but I try to keep an open mind ^_^
