The tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamun was one of the most magnificent of monuments, and one of the richest of tombs since it was filled with priceless treasures. However,it was believed that anyone who disturbed the king's final resting place would be cursed. In fact the tomb contained these lines:'death shall come on swift wings to him who disturbs peace of the king'.
In the year 1922,Howard Carter,an English archaeologist, discovered the burial site of king Tutankhamen in the valley of kings. One of the first victims of the warning written on the tomb's walls was lord carnarvon. He was one of the first persons to enter the tomb, and soon afterwards,he was dead-of an infected mosquito bite! At the same instant all the lights in Cairo, the capital of egypt, went out and the city was plunged into darkness. The morning that lord Carnarvon died, it was reported that his dog began to howl, and then all of a sudden ,it dropped dead too!
Other mysterious things began to occur. Many of the archaeologists that entered the tomb got ill, and eventually died. It is recorded that during the 1920's, more than two dozen of these men died shortly after enttering king Tut's tomb. This was the beginning of the curse of king Tut.
To many, the curse ok king Tut is still a mystery, to others it is just superstition. They point out that Carter himself, who was the first to enter the tomb, survived untill March 1939 just short of his 65th birthday, and nearly 17 years after entering the tomb-about a decade of which was spent working in the tomb itself.
Does this curse truly exist, or at least did it exist? What do you think..
If it did how can it be created
I dont think the curse was real. some of the egyptian curses can be really funny, like I read one archeologist found an inscription in a tomb that read 'he who disturbs my rest, shall have his neck rung like a bird'.
Our ancestors were much more advance in magick because of how long it was praticed and all the knowledge they had was lost. One guy dose not mean the curse is false and there are no accidents in this world. They disturbed the tomb and then an entire electrical grid fails and people are dieing left and right. I doubt it was fake.
It's hard to say if that's real or not. But I will say more than one person died. Also curses aren't any harder than any other magic. Just carving it may have been enough.
egyptian curses are funny eh? Thats why all of the people that dug out the tomb got really ill and died even though they were known to be really healthy. Personally i think it is grotesque to disturb a king so you can put it on display in a museum.

Carter did not die, at least not for quite some years.Lord Carnavon did not die of a mosquito bite. Mosquitos don't bite, he would have been infected by Malaria. And many have died from that!
These stories have always grown up around this type of tomb-robbing (because that is what it is!). They are simply that! Stories.
as silly as Egyptian curses are i believe they shouldnt be taken lightly. A lot of the ancient practitioners used curses created by gods like Anubis, Osiris, and Seth. Those gods were not and still shouldnt to be trifled with.
