and luckily found this site with ppl such as me in it too
so to take my new found passion forward
i tot of inking myself that symbols, etc necessary
i looked ovr de net bt very confused
so i tot its betta to ask the experts
PS:I WOULDNT BE PERFORMING MUCH OF DARK ARTS
so sybols of positive energy
guardian angels or something that you ppl think i may need would be apriciated
Now, as for my opinion, some people do have the desire to tattoo symbols of their dedication to their dieties, etc. However, such tattoos are extremely personal and one must decide for oneself what they want, or if they even want a tattoo at all. Keep in mind that tattoos are permanently on your body, so it is not something you should do lightly. Give some serious though and decide for yourself what you want, but it is by no means mandatory for you to get a tattoo.
yes i do get your point.n thanks 4 your input by the way.
since my knowledge is pretty much poor regarding this subject
i was looking for a few suggestions
:)
I suggest googling it. There are billions of tattoo ideas on google, and it lets you decide for yourself what you like and want, rather than taking suggestions from people here that do not know you.
I love tattoos and have several. Only one has any connection to my magical/spiritual life, a representation of my original magical name, which I have stopped using. I don't regret the tattoo, I still think it's beautiful and represents a significant period of my life. However seeing how much my beliefs have changed over the years, I am glad I didn't get more magical tattoos. So take your time in deciding and give it serious thought.

Like was said, devotional types of tattoos are meant to be very personal. For instance, I have spent the last five years doing daily devotional work, and am now in the process of drawing the tattoos I plan to get to represent my practice (which will encompass a large portion of my body).
Take the time to think about what you are doing, what you really want, what you may not want in the future, the placement of the tats you consider, and definitely who is going to be putting them on your body. If you're serious about it, meet with some local artists and discuss your ideas with them. They will be able to draw something for you and you can see if you like they're style. That's why they are artists. :)
Like was said, you don't need tattoos for anything. However, some people like to dedicate tattoos to their practice, their deities, etc.
I have a tattoo of an Ouroboros on my chest, and while it's a widely known symbol it's personal in that it reflects many of my theologies. The person I got it from wasn't a practitioner that I know of, so it wasn't charged with energy while it was being inked (as I didn't think about that part during the process and probably would have been too distracted anyways) but I like it, and it reminds me everyday of my tenants. I plan on getting more, of my own design later in life.
