Hi im posting another topic on Corporeal magic and i want to explain from a pseudoscientifical point of view what so called Fantasy magic is.
Fantasy magic incorporates any Incredible feat such as flight , manipulation of elements or morphing of your own DNA.
This is Scientificaly plausable 100% , but it is not possible to be done by a normal human. The reason for which ancient sorcerers and practitioners of magic spent their whole lives in just pursuit of the lone art of magic is because you can never have enought time to study it. THey kept searching for ways to create and manipulate , to store and keep but they couldnt harness enought energy.
For DNA to be manipulated you would first need an energy source equal to a nuclear power plant (within yourself) and you would have to have incredible willpower to control it , will so strong that you would have to lack any emotion to hold it , you would effectively not be human.
The reason why we Could , but cant is because we are Human , we cannot reach it but we will forever strive to it , that is our purpose.

Love this post. Reason being, it's another viewpoint of magick. Essentially, what we call "science" is magick. It's just two different sciences! ^_^ What I just said probably makes no sense, but everything considered magick is just a strong willpower in the Mind.
No it makes total sense. Science is magic and magic is science its all the same thing , the only difference is how its done. Best way to think of science is ...the attempt to make physical changes in the world , which are easier to achieve then with the general idea of magic.
Science is "knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through scientific method" according to webster. this shows that while science is not alway magick, magick is always a catagory of science. Just thought I would clear that up.
They were once the same and then branched off. Alchemy to chemistry, astrology to astronomy, ext. They are originated from magick but ultimately different. This could be considered my oppinion.

Oh this is my opinion, i know that magick is also part of science. That's what I meant, Sue :) Just an opinion, because science is my favorite and magick I am still studying.... :)
Magic does not come form the divine , it comes from you. What we see as divine are just spirits and greater beings , who were also created by others , but inadvertantly we willed ourselves into being they did not make us. We were once inanimate...soulless but the pure will drove us into existance that is what we are and that is why everyone big , small , beautiful and ugly are all champions of this world , for we made it here and forever... we shall stay.
Magic is our own , gods do not give it to us , we only honor them so their wisdom and strength might be on our side.
