No, one a spell is cast it must take its course. Unless you divert its course to something else. try to divert it to a plant like a branch or leafs or a rose. it depends on how powerful you are to know how quickly the spell will take hold.....

Really stopping someone from ending up dead would depend on how one tried to kill them in the first place. if they were physically harmed, but aren't dead yet medical attention is advisable.

Karma, having to do with the next life, might kick you in the pants. One won't know this until the next life.
On the other hand, the reasons to inflict this sort of thing are usually petty, irrational, or ill-conceived. Especially if one wishes to reverse it.
ive done a successful death spell but it dosnt kill them like bam their dead it makes something happen to them like a car crash or chocking on something and you cant undo a death spell becuz that would be raising the dead which isnt possible...but if it is possible then it shouldnt be messed with
