Impossibilities of Magic

I'm sure we've all seen posts and comments where someone asks about a slightly controversial task, and the poster gets gutted because people seem to think it's impossible. No, I'm not here to condone the actions of the liars here, but as people seem to want to take a scientific view on things here, you're doing this part wrong.

I've only been on this site a short while, yet I'm already sickened by the word impossible here, a word I thought I was going to leave behind on a magick site.

To the people who tell others that something is impossible because "science says so," NO IT DOESN'T. If you really believe that something can't happen, then try and prove it. But can you really? I really doubt it! The only reason things seem impossible is because of a lack of proof otherwise, and/or one simply doesn't have the means of carrying out such a task.

I really hope we can all learn something from examining the nature of our own beings, please try to show me this isn't just wishful thinking.

But something I was taught in the fifth grade was: Everything is possible, but not all things are 'probable.'

Pigs flying isn't impossible, but it has an extremely lower to none probability percentage than airplanes.

Please do not use text talk, and as well, although I agree, to outright say it is impossible is somewhat rough, in my opinion, it is the only way to say it aside from directly saying, "You are more than likely never going to achieve the result you crave. You may as well give up on this dream of which you desire, nobody has ever succeeded in achieving this goal you desire, despite the countless before who have tried. Give up, or prepare for a world of disappointment bound by almost all odds." Would you rather they say this, or simply put it at impossible?

Well, to be technically correct, I would go into detail, as some needs the explanation.

Yes, but sometimes the best option is to leave it at impossible, as many tend to argue even if details are given, and many can take the details too harshly, as many often tend to misinterpret one meaning for another, not to mention, those who this is said to often ask for spells that defy all the physical laws of our world. Say for instance, a werewolf spell, it defies what our bodies are actually meant for and what they do, as our bone structure would have to rearrange in deadly ways, as would our organs would have to change as well to acomodate how this new body would work.

And yet, this is still an assumption as I'm sure you've not experienced this...not that I disagree with you.

People get offended by the smallest things these days. Normally its someone telling them that their Hollywood beliefs are as fake as their T.V. People also get offended when someone calls them out on something they are lacking, be it knowledge, maturity, understanding, etc. And if this is what they are lacking, why wouldn't someone explain this to them.

Simply saying "its impossible" is not only an incorrect way of saying this, but also lacks the detail that they need.

If someone gets offended by it, its no one else's fault, but the one who refuses to understand the logic of magick.

Impossible is thrown around to much on Magick boards
But also used to little in some cases
Some off the wall things are totally possible via magick
That some people will never be qualified to achieve so they deem it impossible for all but then many things people ask about are truly impossible magick only goes so far.

Indeed, I've never experienced it, but the body would have to change for something like that to occur without consequence, and I will not say impossible, but it is not likely
