As usual, here's my thread about the element's elementals! The fire elementals: The Salamanders! Clarifying, antiquely, elementals were named according to what recalled them of the element. Salamanders slept inside empty humid trunks of wood, and so, after they thrown it in the fire, the salamanders got out, looking like as if they came from the actual fire. So, that's why the fire elementals were called " Salamanders ". There are of course, other names, such as " Volcans " or " Volcanics " (I believe that's how it is translated to english).
They rule, then, in the fire. Living in the core of the volcanes and in the flames of fires. Nourish of what consumes them and drink of the air that rile them up. Males or females, show themselves with a thin and gracious aspect. Speak little, help little, and prefer the " old women and witches ". They hate anger, wrath. To prove you superate your/a fear of fire, there are lots of exercises you can do, such as sliding/drifting your hand throw flames, trying and walking on embers.
Now, some analogies about them:
Element : Fire.
Part of The World : South. (Midi)
Supreme : Djin.
Places : At a sunny place or near a lit fire.
Planets : Sun, Jupiter.
Zodiac Signs : Aries, Leo, Sargittarius.
Favorable Fumigations : Saffron.
Desfavorable Fumigations : Poppy, Sulfur.
Metals : Iron, Copper.
Precious Stones : Jasper, Emerald, Ruby.
Vegetables : Pine, Lily, Olive.
Animals : Pheasant, Partridge, Pidgeon.
Colour : Red.
Season : Summer
Again you can use the Eliphas Levi prayer for the elementals.
I'm a fire sighned and I notice it does help me to "burn a bit hotter" in situations. I have to check my anger sometimes.. But works the other way in things I'm impassioned about.. I use fire to end spells very often, its prob a go to way for me... I think it's a very strong force, like natural forces being strong....

Fire to me represents/is important because:
The flame that lights the candles & incense. Used for meditation, aromatherapy, and candle magick of course.
The flame that lights herbs. Many herbs being helpful for medical purposes and pest control in addition to magick of course.
The flame that lights paper. What I believe is refered to as, "petition papers". Written requests, prayers, etc.
Then think of lamp oil and essential oil heaters, For lamps and heck even candles they provide lights in dark places to help find your way. "Out of the dark and into the light" (I just made that up but I would not be surprised if someone has already come up with it.)
Fire provides not only light but heat! How did people heat bath water, cook food, and stay warm back then? You would think, but not anymore! Well, for those who go camping or live in other countries this is still a thing. That or even a house with a fire place
Fire is a sacred symbol of both Hestia and Ares. Hestia I am sure most people know as a goddess of the home and hearth. Then think of Vesta and the vestal virgins whose job it was to keep the scared flame alive. Now Ares I am sure everyone is thinking, "nu-uh! Like only war and killing and stuff!" Lesigh, he is so much more than that. As his priests threw torches to the other side of the battle field to cleanse it in a sacred way before killing their enemies. Also, think fire of courage, fiery temper, protective flames, etc.
As is probably obvious...fire is easily the element I bond most with. Yadda yadda we are a part of all the elements and not just one. This is true, though I would consider this the one I bond with most easily and favor the most.
Nerdy side note: I fucking LOVED Zuko and Azula!! There personalities and those fire nation uniforms as so dang spiffy yo! And my favorite Pokemanz is easily the fire ones. I love starting forest fires. o.o Burning all those grass Pokemon alive as I cycle through on my bike with my little bell of doom...Ching ching goes the bell. In the distance the screams of scorched bugs and veggies can be heard. :D Fire starters NUMBER ONE!! Yes, I am picking Litten this time around mwahahaha!!
