Hi, I am new to this site, came across it by accident
I am 18 years old ,a christian catholic since birth(i dont know i might go to hell bec i am interested in the occult???)
I had a lot of paranormal experience since I was a kid but I always try to find some scientific reasons behind it like
-seeing ghost especially in mirrors(illusions?)
-sleepwalking,talking weird dreams, premonitions feeling of some1 taking over your body possession maybe?(people around me said that I was saying things i dont even know) etc.
I did try a spell one time, - rain spell after after a few hours it really did rain but not much and i said it was just a coincidence tried it again after a few weeks and it also happened... then after the 2nd time I felt that I was being watched that went on for so long, things like no one is there and door closes and it's impossible for the wind

that doesnt sound stupid.Most of the people here is because of some strange things that happen to them.your reason for hier is noble so y welcome you with whole my heart.join to one of beginer covens and find mentor,you will see that science cant explain everything.
These are the typicalities that a lot of people don't experience. Science can't explain it all. We all dismiss it and some of us see past what we can't believe eventually. You'll get there keep it up. And ask who is there next time you feel you are being watched, you may be surprised and get a response.
Science can explain everything.. ^_^ they just have not come with all the explanation just yet.. hahahah but they can.. either that or people will not accept the explanations in either case.. *_* in either case, science is not accurate.. is always progressing... it will be boring if science was all perfection.. ^_^ in either case, science is one method to explain things.. then we got faith.. and other random -_- names are made up to explain things.. hahahaha.. anyways, Welcome, I am also catholic by heritage.. and probably will govern hell one day.. who knows.. @_@ I believe in many things, but I always keep my skeptic senses in tune... I am a believer of all things.. but yet agnostic.. hahahahaha... Well congrats.. and hope you find answer to your questions.. or questions to your answer... which ever is first.

yor tongue is faster than mind...tell me...can science explain why we have souls or how did universe become,it couldn t just poof out from nothing??...science can explain material things but not spiritual...and if you are witch you should know that!
but that is where the scepticism comes from, the unknown the what we have been taught not to believe!! We all go through it and some often even though they get past have moments of I'm just being wrong and crazy, none of this is true.
Scepticism is bascially human nature and even the scientists hold this idea when they try new things or try to work out that what they have just discovered isn't flawed! And anyone who says they are anything not human take a look in a mirror and tell me what you see as a whole, a something in a human body, you are in human form unless your a cat dog or otherwise and wouldn't be able to join in with this site.
thanks for reading my intro and your replies, right now I am very confused about everything but I am very open minded and I will try my best to expand my knowledge and understanding about how the universe works since I have a lot of questions that common sense or science cannot answer(that's why I signed up on this site ^^)
hi Fenrir.Welcome.I too was born and raised catholic and like you have had many experiences i cannot explain.that is the reason i`m here too.I have met some very good people on this site that i can relate to.science i`m afraid will never be able to understand the complexities of the true natures of our existence.that is something only god can answer.only through our own self awareness can we truly answer the questions that we seek.good luck.Peace,Love
In fact, I'm a fullblood catholic, but I somehow don't tend to follow it's religion really well. I like to pick up a few things here and there from other religions as well and put them all together, so it wouldn't matter if I go to hell just because of magick. It's just something that I don't believe myself, cause it's still out there to be discovered by a bunch of other new people, like you.
Also, try to resource yourself with knowlegde on the forums. It has all the stuff you might be looking for. And don't think that it's stupid, because in this site, we are here to help those who are in need of help.

to NekroN_Black yes im sure sience could explain that... or at least it will some day, and sceptic the way Vari used it was apropriate she believes in magic but if some one goes to her claimint to be all powerful ruler of heaven the underworld and earth she isnt going to just say "ok" and start believing it. take what someone says and look at all the angles instead of attacking someone on the forum
