Hi guys! So i'm new here and i joined because i need some help. I've got really strange dreams for about two or three years now and i just can't keep pretending like it's nothing. I don't know where to start even, so i guess i will tell you my first dream from which everything started. I was 12 years old when i had this dream (now i'm 15) : i was walking in a cave and suddenly a man was by my side. He said He was expecting me and he has been watching me for a while. I don't remember the exact conversation i had with him but i remember he said to me that he has plans for me and he will keep on watching me. He was tall and dressed in black, his face was so horrifying and unique at the same time. He had really sharp cheekbones and jawline, big cold smile and his eyes were neon yellow. He had the look of a psyhopath. He also had long black hair and wore a hat. After we had this conversation he vanished. After a couple of months i dreamed i was in another cave with a group of People. We were really nervous and scared because we had somekind of mission to do (idk what) the next thing i remember that there was a fight and one guy told me run and save myself but suddenly all the People around me was dead and i was the only one left alive. In front of me there was a throne made of Stones and that creepy man was sitting on it, he laughed at me and thanked me and then he vanished. I never saw him again.
So from this man all my strange dreams started. I am really confused and i have even stranger dreams, sometimes they are really scary, i dream how somebody is hurting me or im in a body of another person and he/she is suffering and i can feel all the pain. Please somebody help me, i don't know what to do, i don't know how much longer i can live scared of my own mind. I Will be soo gratefull if somebody help me understand what this and the other dreams mean
Nightmares can happened for a lot of reasons, one can be a diet. If your eating a lot of take out, or junk food before bed, than your more likely to experience them. If you are feeling a lost of control over your life, than this can also happen, being afraid of your own mind won't help matters either. I recommend some relax music, which can be found, with a quick Google search on YouTube, if you can than also try meditation before bed, it will help a little.
Sometimes as will nightmares can be seen as a past memory of someone hurting you, blocking the problem out and not seeking help in waking life, for the problem can occur in nightmares. Dream catches and protective crystals could also help you. If your watching too many action movies or horror movies before bed, this could be anothertrigger as will, going back out in nature during the day might also help you.
The cave itself is also a sign, for you. Caves can be a good thing, but when seen in aNegative point of view. It can represent the fear of the unknown, a man stepping into the cave behind you. Shows that you may feel in your waking life, that someone does not respect your boundaries. Caves can also be seen as a lonely or unhappiness.
The man on a throne can also be seen as someone in your waking life, you feel like they have power over you. Weather it's a boss, a parent, or the local bully, it can be seen that they have more power than you and this fears you for whatever reason it may be. Know that you are strong in your own right.
Being on a mission can be seen as your own duty, your own chore, your own work in your waking life. If you've ever handed something back to your boss, or family member about as simple as something as your school report card, or something your really proud of. Only to have than being disappoint. Than the fear on this mission is being let down, that no matter what you do isn't good enough. Know that the only person you can please, is yourself.
Pleasing other people is difficult, for a lot of times they themselves don't even know what they want. So if your happy about something than your happy about it, don't let other people opinions rule your life. Know that your good enough, you may make mistakes, but this is part of life, learn from them to help improve yourself as a being.
Fighting in your dreams, could also be seen as you being in denial about something, or not willing to face something, or even holding back yourself back. People dying could be seen as something old must be removed, for something new to be born.
I'm sorry to hear about your nightmares, their no fun, and even I don't want to deal with them half the time, but after you think about it nightmares can offer great lessons that you can put into waking life. I suggest write a logbook, or a journey, about both your good dreams and your nightmares, so you can read over than and try to find the hidden meaning behind them. Write down your emotions on that day as will, if you watch horror movies, I suggest stop watching them before bed. Turn on some relaxing music, it won't be fixed over night, but given time you can see if this method helps you or not. Good luck, stay strong, don't let your fears rule your life.
dreams are your unconscious mind talking to itself. Youre not dreaming about someone talking to you...the persone, the man, in the dream is you talking to yourself.
Your unconscious mind is not logical it expresses itself in symbols subjective to you. You can look up the meaning of the symbols in a book or on the internet but ultimately you know what the messages and symbols are since they originate from you.
your unconscious mind is dealing with the reality that your conscious mind is dealing with day to day.
So when I was in teacher school we spent a class talking about the importance of student's feelings about stuff. Thats not something that I consciously, or typically deal with.
So I had a dream after this class that this little girl took me by the hand into this spooky house. I felt uncomfortable at first as she would open the door to room after room in the spooky looking house. But I trusted the little girl in the dream and she assured me nothing here would hurt me.
The meaning of the dream was obvious given the context of what was happening: The little girl was my underdeveloped feminen side of my psyche (i am a man) and the spooky house was my unconscious mind dealing with having to work with other people's feelings. My unconscious mind created this "story" of symbols to help me cope with something that at that time was outside my comfort zone.
Entering into adolescence is a difficult transition. It is new and significant for you because you are changing from a child into an adult. Perhaps look at these dreams within that context? It may give you insight into yourself and what your fears, strengths, and weaknesses are.
I seriously need help guys.i have suffered beyond words and have hardworked through the good way to get the best out of life, but nothing worked.I want serious help or might end up doing something crazy to myself.
