Why is there a section of fantasy magic here if wizards and witches can't perform any sci-fi magic as seen on TV aren't sci-fi magic the same as fantasy spells listed here in the site??

Anyone can add spells and articles to the site, whether they know what they are talking about or not. So we get foolish things added by those who don't understand real magic and what it cannot do. We also get it from those who wish to intentionally mislead others, or who are trolling the site. The people who actually know what they are doing don't add such stuff and try our best to correct misinformation, but we cannot remove spells and articles once they are posted.
The reason it is still there is that it draws hits to this site and that is what generates the money to keep the site up and running so the rest of us can enjoy it. As we can, we move such spells into the Fantasy or Trick sections of the spell books to let people know that those spells are fake ones.
Because I was looking what spells the site has to offer as am attempting to familiarize and understand this art form so I went to see what they have listed. I won't leave it out just cause it saids fantasy and tricks spells.
Magic in movies and shows are meant to entertain the masses. If it was to show Real Magic, it would be quite boring. Anything defying nature, such as levitating objects, teleporting people, or spellcasting ending with a puff of smoke, does not happen with Real Magic. Real Magic is an unseen energy found in nature that brings natural desired changes. It is subtle and works within the laws of nature to bring these results to you. It is ruled by nature on the physical plane, so here on Earth, none of the things in movies will happen. If a show was to be accurate, you would see a bunch of people meditating for fifteen minutes, lighting some incense, saying some chants while a candle burns out. No smoke or explosions or people levitating off the ground while sparks fly from their wands. That would be quite dull indeed, which is why even the "accurate" portrayals of the craft use some creative liberty. If you have never heard of Practical Magic or The Craft, I suggest giving them a watch. While not completely accurate, the community seems to universally agree it is the best we have for representation. Which is laughable because one movie brings someone back from the dead, which cannot happen, and the other we have levitation, glamour spells that make people look identical to the person they are impersonation, and someone being possessed by a God. However, those are just creative liberties to entertain, the parts of the craft they take seriously are rather accurate. The Craft even had a Wiccan consultant for accuracy, so the rituals are pretty well portrayed.
If you are interested in any of the "cool sci-fi and fantasy" stuff you see in movies, I recommend researching astral travel and other planes of existence. Different realms have different natural laws and there are different limitations. Astral Projection will let you fly, turn invisible, and walk through walls. You will not be on the physical plane, your astral body is akin to your spirit leaving your physical, so you will interact with the physical similarly to how a spirit would because a spirit is on a different plane of existence which runs parallel to our physical one.
Find a reliable book to study from and go from there. I suggest Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraft, by Raymond Buckland. It is build like a school textbook, with chapters and questions at the end of each section.
