A spell to give a book powers of your choice so no unwanted spirit or evil being may touch it.

Casting Instructions for 'Enchant a Book With Magic Powers'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • 1 Black candle
  • Your book
  • Pen/pencil

Light the candle, put the book in front of it and open to front page. Write powers you want on front page. Example. telekinesis so it will blast unwanted being back away from book. When finished writing powers say.

"Earth, air, water, fire,
Give this book the powers I desire,
By the magic of three,
Bless it now so mote it be."

Under the powers draw a triquetra, symbolising three times three. Then blow out candle and close the book.

What sort of powers?

Anny you desire, I'm guessing...

This spell doesn't work. While item enchantment is real, it doesn't work like it does in fiction. An enchanted book isn't going to blast people away from it.

You cannot enchant an object to blast someone away if they touch it. Blessing items are done because you plan to use them in your craft. You could bless a pen with love energy and use it to write petitions, sigils and spells associated with love. This would give it extra Magik. You can enchant a book with an invisibility spell so people overlook it on bookshelves thus protecting your secrets. You cannot enchant a book to do anything not naturally possible.
