You cannot physically transform into a fox.

This spell is a lot of nonsense. You cannot physically change yourself with magic into something other than human.

You realize Lark is a priestess with over 40 years of experience in witchcraft and Magik? You can believe anything you wish, it does not make it true, and it does not automatically warrant respect. You are not guaranteed kindness. If your beliefs collapse under the slightest bit of scrutiny, you clearly have not put forth an iota of effort into understanding your beliefs. You simply wish to live in a fantasy, and you can, but do not expect others to coddle you.
