Before beginning, cleanse all materials with incense or herb smoke. Combine ingredients in the bowl while focusing on their properties and your intentions. If you chose, you can carve a money symbol into the candle. Light your candle and meditate on your goals and intentions. Writing your intentions on paper and placing it in or under the bowl can help.

This is a working money spell. Once you have created it, place it by your door or in your office to attract money. I would fold the paper toward you and place it in the bowl because you are pulling wealth toward you and the bowl is to act like a magnet.

The cleanse before using the items is to wash away or clear out any energies they might already have on them from storage/handling or time in general. It is like having a shower before going out on a date. It doesn't really matter what soap you use as long as in the end you are clean.

Personally I would keep it simple and use what you already have. Sandalwood, cedar, sweet grass... heck, if you have a quartz cluster or some blue kyanite you could use either of those to bathe the items by laying them on or near for an hour or two.

Personally, because I have it handy, I would use dragon's blood Resin because it brings not just cleansing/purification but also action and empowerment. Grind up a small bit and put it on a charcoal incense disk, or rub/press it into the wax of the candle for extra Oomph while it burns.

There are a plethora of ways to cleanse items, herbs is one method. Smoke cleansings are another common one. You could use an herb bundle, incense, or loose herbs sprinkled on a charcoal disk. If the items can be placed in water, you could use salt water, moon water, cleansing spray, or running water. Sound can cleanse too. Ring a bell, use a singing bowl, even snapping your fingers can do the trick. Crystal grids can cleanse the objects too. Or, you could just slap the object. I know people who will take a candle and give it a few hits to force out negative energy. There are many options. Personally, for objects, I use a bell.
