Light your candle and see the person you are protecting shielded from harm. Chant:
"I call upon the four corners,
North, South, East, and West,
To craft this spell in the fire,
Craft it well weave it higher,
Weave it now of shining flame,
None shall come to hurt or maim,
None shall pass no none at all,
Protect this child I ask of thee,
Protect (him/her) now till (he/she) can see,
As I Ask, SO Mote It Be!"
While casting to protect a child we say till they can see because they are innocent and oblivious to a lot of what is going on to change it for someone else like a friend your change "this child" to "my friend" and change "can see" to "is free".
Theoretically, it should, but there are spells specifically to protect a pregnancy. [but if it's a high-risk pregnancy, a protection spell is helpful, but they should work closely with their doctor]
It's best to do a protection for each child, but you can say ''Protect A and B'' and it should work the same. I recommend either taking two candles, carving their names into both [one for your first child, the other for the second] and lighting them while saying the chant. Or, you can carve both of their names into the same candle and place a photo of them both together [one with a happy, joyful memory since that's how you want them to feel] This would help direct the spell. I'd also suggest making a protection charm. If they have a toy or item they wear all the time, you can bless that object to protect them [you could draw a protection symbol on their clothes tags, or even their socks, and that would protect them too]
