Hey guys, this is a short explanation on the Energies of Spirit, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water and why you need to know how to summon these Energies to help aid you in your Elemental Magick.
These energies are necessary for Elemental Magick. I feel that you need to understand Spirit the most, since it is the Energy that connects the other four, so I've been told. I have practiced Summoning the Energies for some time, and I think I can give you a little advice on how to do it.
For starters, you will need to practice summoning regular energy. I started with a simple Energy summoning spell. After three days, I was able to summon it without the need of the spell. Your body needs to adapt to summoning energy and it needs to learn how to do that.
Next, I would suggest practicing how to summon your element's Energy. My element is a mix between Earth and Air (I started with Earth.) Once you have done that, you may begin to summon energies of the other elements.
I would suggest just going outside and feeling nature for Earth. For Wind, meditate and 'become one' with the wind if you will. Try to understand the Wind. Feel it across your skin. When you have effectively summoned the wind energy, you may feel a little breeze in your hand (or it may get a little colder in the palm of your hand, the same place where the psychic element of Ice renders.)
For Fire, I just used a candle and put my hands to the sides of the candle. I did this for a while, and then my hands felt tingly in a way. For Water, I had a bowl of water and I put my hands in it and kept them there for a long time. Water energy feels similar to Air energy, but it will be circling your hand.
Be aware, this is my interpretation. You may or may not feel the energies differently from how I can.
Earth- Your hands will feel heavy in a way (You cant lift them up easily)
Air- You will feel a breeze in your hand (a small one!)
Fire- Your hands will feel tingly and 'hot' in some way
Water- You will feel energy circling your hand and/or arms.
Spirit- The energy is tricky here for me, it feels sweet in a way. It feels pure to me. When I summon Spirit energy, I suddenly feel happier.
Regular Energy- It feels a little bland to me, like it has no character.
The colors I visualize
Earth- Green
Air- Light Blue
Fire- Red
Water- Dark Blue
Spirit- White
Regular- Yellow
Again, this is only my interpretation. ^^^
