Even though I dont follow a specific path i do beleive in the "basic"
every one should know about
+meditation
+grounding
+centering
+visualization
I realized with learning how to meditate the rest just seemed to fall into place

by now one should have discovered their path or new it as soon as they decided to be a practitioner. nows the time to learn about symbolysm and corresponce to
+herbs
+colors
+moon phases
+stones/crytals
+the elements and their charactoristic
+important dates and time of year
Be mindfull that all of these vary with in different paths and culters. Like a shaman from south america believes in other things compared to a shaman healer from tibet...
