Hello,
I would really appreciate your help and suggestions.
I have done some spells before, but everything I did was rarely planned or researched, more a matter of intuition- I would draw something, or say something, or imagine something, and often those things would happen, as I intended. I did play a bit with auras and energies but never seriously- it has aways been in my family, so I guess trying it came naturally. I read a lot and research a lot.
Recently my family goes through some difficult times, and I need to work a spell, or rather a couple of spells- protective, to make certain problems go away end to banish some things. This time it is serious enough to make me approach it seriously, make a plan, buy candles, etc. I have everything almost ready, but here comes the problem.
There was once a person very close to the family, who could see the future and worked with energies- a truly remarkable person, now dead. She said once when I was little, that I have a gift but I should not try to use it until I am grown. I am legally an adult now, but according to some it is still too early.

Should I ignore the warning?
I can help my family, I feel ready, I have done things before that worked. I don?t know how to describe what I feel, it is the sense of energy, but I know the spell should work.

Please answer me as quickly as you can, I want to work the banishing spell in two days on 15th, when the moon is best for that. The other rituals I planned for the 31st, Halloween. Should I trust my intuition or what I was told?
