Hello

I just signed up and I wanted to introduce myself.

Im probably a bit older than a lot of people on the board but I felt this was a great site to begin a kind of formal noviceship into magickal practice.

Im from Southern California but currently living in central Idaho. I consider myself to be open to new ideas and stay away from being judgemental. That is another aspect of the site I liked as a lurker it seemed like people for the most part, are trying to be helpful and supportive of others

That being said, im a true neonate to practicing the art. What got me interested was the fact that I would like to take greater control of my life and Christian prayer just wasn't cutting it for me. I'd like to look for different ways to experience "God" or the higher power that exists. Im not "against" anyone or anything...just trying to figure out what else life on my journey has to offer.

I'm accomplished in other things (like I said, im pretty old) and I know what hard work and research can do in terms of a rewards. So im looking forward to learning a lot...staying young at heart and enjoying surprises along the way.

Im preparing to cast my first spell this Friday October 11th. Im going to do a love spell to bring someone I love a lot even closer than we are now.
