Last night I had my first successful shamanic journey last night and I wanted to share my experience and to use this to kind of journal what I saw and get some outside opinions and advice.

It was kind of intense I wasn't expecting it. My intent was to meet a friendly god, Thor, and as I entered trance, I was thrown in the ocean, where I saw the midgard serpent, it lunged out of the water and smacked me across the sea so fast ivfeel like I teleported into a forest, where I had to follow a group of men from a distance through the forest, the drumming I was using as a vehicle into trance became a chant of "thunder thunder thunder" over and over, I was eventually on a beach where I saw Thor striking his hammer at the waves, there were no words but I just felt raw power and energy, when it was time to come back from trance I was basically thrown back into my body after thanking him, my heart was pounding and I was sweating profusely. It was like I wanted Thor the friend and got Thor the warrior.
