What is Magick? #1

Magick the universal power of the universe, magick is only a name for "Energy" which flows in anyone no matter if they believe in it's uses or not. Now beginners may look at magick and look at a television and compare and think everything they see, they can do, but sadly that isn't true...otherwise you'd see vampires, werewolves, fairies,..etc. All about, but you don't, the reason is, is because with magick there is a line that we can not cross, no matter how hard we try, we can not cross the "Laws of the Universe". Now some of you may say "Well magick is suppose to make anything possible." Well that is true to a point, magick can't make physical objects out of nothing, nor can they change your very being. 

Magick is a tool, in which should be treated very seriously, magick has a personal meaning to everyone that practices it. Magick is possible only to people that follow these guidelines and read more about the real magick of the universe;
 

1. Concentration- This is one of the key parts of magick, this practice of concentration of not only the mind, but the flow of the energy is needed to use the energy to your will.
2. Belief- This is the major key part of the whole thing, you can not cast a spell without a hint of belief it will work, otherwise your just saying meaningless words. 
3. Emotion- Emotions in spells can give it a boost, spells work in a process, spells cast without emotion can still have an effect, but a spell cast with emotion can have an extra effect.
4. Time- The miscommunication between people who just start out, is they believe they can cast a spell and it will work instantaneously, but that isn't true, depending on how powerful the spell was is what the time it takes to work. Now spells will take as long as they need to work, the best thing is, is not to push the spell otherwise it could rebound. 

 There are a lot of practices/religions inside the magickal practices, but to find one that suites you, is not up to anyone but yourself. In picking a practice/ religion, you should read about them. Their birth (who created them) and what is the focuses. Now no matter what religion you go into, you can always change your mind. 

Covens

Covens are places (real/online) that come together and talk about what every the coven stands for, the coven is usually categorizes their members as; Member, Council, and Priest/Priestess. Now don't think every coven is going to have those position, or have the Priest and Priestess both, some covens have only one. 

Now covens are like family, they care for one another, now sometimes covens become sisters of another coven, which means they protect that coven, so that means the family tree has expanded. Coven meeting can be very secretive, so this means if the priest, priestess, or both tell the member/council not to spread word, then don't. They have trust in their member/council. Now covens will not always be easy to get into especially real life ones, if you are under 18+ it will be harder, most covens look for adult, that way it will not get them into trouble with parents. 

This is because their is a law about teaching children about magick without parental consent. They can spend a year in jail or so.
