#61 - Protection for the Heart
Light the three candles at midnight, on the night of a full moon and place them as shown below. The stone or jewel should be placed in their center.
Once all the candles and the stone are in place, speak the following words aloud:
Guard my heart with your strength,
Protect it from evil and harm,
That no danger may pass,
No threat draw near''.
Extinguish the candles and break them. Wear or carry the stone any time you feel the need for added strength and security against an intrusion to your heart.

#62 - Ritual of Disenchantment
At a table, light the incense. Light the white candles and place them on each side of the incense. Light the yellow candle and put it at the center, nearer you. Place the black candles around the yellow candle and light them with a different source than the preceding candles. Fixate upon their malignant light and try to visualize the forces of the evil which has disturbed you.
Call upon the power of the guardian of the universe aloud while saying:
I call upon you, grand protective angel,
to help me, to defend me.
I am without defense from this rancorous attack,
directed against all the levels by its being,
combatant of the right causes against the evil,
and malicious of the guard without defenses.
I implore you, utilize your force to destroy and cut down this evil,
to purge it thanks to your crowned fire and purifier,
to clean this iniquity,
in the name of the one who is all,
Thus is it!''
Extinguish the candles. Every night, just after midnight, for the next eight nights, repeat this ritual. The evil will be vanquished.

#63 - Making the Rose Shield Oil
It is best not to use hybrid roses as their molecular structure has been altered to produce color. Use the standard white, red and pink rose varieties instead. Or if you can, wild roses are the best. ** A coffee filter can be used in place of cheese cloth.
Creating The Potion
You want to have a small rhyme ready to chant over the ingredients as you mix them together. This is a method of charging the items as you combine them and set the intent of the potion. Your rhyme should be short, about 4 lines long and easy to remember and say. This is a protection potion, so your rhyme should address that intent.
"With roses and sage I do set, an air of protection that must be met.
With linguring fragrance of pedals so small,
I charge this potion with each and every call".
Pick the sage at dusk and place it in a warm dry place inside your home. 1 long stalk of sage will make about ½ cup of chopped material.
Pick the rose pedals early in the morning, before the sun has a chance to dry them out.
In a medium sauce pan, mix the water and oil and let it simmer over a medium flame while you prepare the pedals and sage.
Using a pair of scissors, cut the rose pedals into small pieces, less than ½ inch square, until you can make 2 full cups of pedals. Chop the sage stalk into ¼ inch pieces. If the stalk has started blooming or seeding, include this portion of the sage as well. Add all the ingredients to the sauce pan and simmer for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for another 30 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool until the liquid is luke warm. Drain the liquid into a sterilized bottle with a cheese ** cloth. Squeeze the contents of the cloth to drain any liquid left over in the pedals and sage.
Add the whole pedals to the liquid bottle and close with a cork or glass stopper. Let stand in a cool place for 3 days before use.
The Rose Shield Use the oil in conjunction with a protection spell. To protect your home, sprinkle this oil across the door ways and windows.
To protect your car and it's occupants before a long trip, sprinkle the tires and steering wheel.
To protect your sacred space, sprinkle around the outside of the space.
To protect yourself, rub a small amount of the oil on inside of your writs, the top of your hands, the soles of your feet and the inside of your ankles.

Repeat the following invocation aloud:
Let this day begin anew and let my heart so do
Take from me my burden and burn it in thy light

Let them grow and soothe mine mind, my heart that beats within
Spirit of the Rising Sun give unto me the will to win.
Spirit of the Rising Sun make this happy day
Continue through tomorrow, its path become mine way
Spirit of the Rising Sun these things I ask of thee
To take the old and sorrow
In addition, let me start anew''.

#66 - Clairvoyance Spell
Sit in a comfortable chair or on a stool, with your back to the candle. You should be about four feet away from the candle.
Close your eyes and clear your mind. Imagine you are on the top of a mountain with a light breeze blowing in your face. It is night and the sky is lit brightly with stars. Relax and take a few moments to look at the stars.
Now, close your mindÂs eye so that you can only feel the light breeze on your face. Feel the breeze and smell the clean, fresh air. You are now at the top of a high mountain, it is dark, you are relaxed and your mind is clear.
Slowly open your eyes and raise the mirror so that you are looking directly into your own eyes. Continue gazing deeper and deeper into your own eyes until you are able to see that which your senses otherwise cannot perceive.
When you have reached the proper depth of ÂvisionÂ, you will be able to both send and receive images and thoughts. This spell requires total seclusion and silence; even the slightest interference will break the connection.
CAUTION: It is possible to lose consciousness during the working of this spell. Take care that the burning candle is secure and properly protected so that there is no possibility of an accidental fire.

Three fresh leaves of an oak should be placed on a table and surrounded then by the placement of five lighted candles so as to form the five points of a pentacle. A circle should then be drawn around the whole and no more should any enter or leave the circle. The desired art must be addressed by name and her invocation ye should speak in a soft yet firm voice:
Spirit of (name the art), I summon thee in the power of the everlasting virtue of the highest that thee attend.
Thy skill I desire so as to honor the virtues of thine art.
Let this pass between us that thee suffer not the pain of torment for thy disregard and the two edged sword in its swift and unyielding justice might stay its blade from thee.
Grant thy skill now that thee shall enjoy the product of mine labors in thy name. So this I ask, so this let be so''.
Having spoke the invocation, dismiss the spirit. The candles should be extinguished and the leaves should be rolled and buried in freshly turned soil.

#69 - Force of the Flame
Having accurately determined the enemy and their actions, the spell need be cast thusly: At the midnight of a waning moon, in a darkened room, three candles need be lighted and placed on the floor so as to form a triangle. You should then sit in the center of the triangle, light a fourth candle and hold it with both of your hands. Close your eyes, focus on your enemy or enemies, and repeat their names aloud only one time. Open your eyes and stare at the flame of the candle, focusing your gaze at the base of the flame.
The following invocation should be spoken aloud:
Evil rises and forms against me
Thine enemies harm for me harbor
And clamor that ill-deeds be done
Ill-deeds to add to the iniquitous actions
Of them and their minions of the dark
I beg thee fold me in thy arms
Whilst right be done and vengeance be wrought
The flaming sword of retribution
Be visited upon them and their hearts be purged
Let great pressure be brought to bear
Upon their wicked heads
So that their minds may be washed clean
Of ill-intent and darkness.
These things I beg of thee
That thus they may come to pass''.

#70 - Strength of the Wind
The following invocation should be spoken aloud whilst you continue to rotate clockwise with arms extended from your sides:
Keepers of the powers
Transporters of knowledge, wisdom and truth
Guardians of the earth, sea and sky
Hear this pleading of a wayward traveler
Grant me audience before thine eyes and ears
That thus this may be heard
And my needs be seen.
Those who fear thee, seek me
Those who thou dost loathe, abhor me
In thy path, I wish to walk
And with thy voice I desire to talk
Clothe my bones with the strength of thy strengths
Fortify my mind with thine solid foundation
Gathered from the expanse of the universe
And carried by thine able hands
That in thy wisdom and truth
And through the purity of your spirit
These things may be imparted unto me.
Spirits of the Seven Winds hear my cry
And let this thus be so''.
