In a Mortar & Pestle Grind Together Salt and Wood Ashe until fine. As you grind the mixture rotate your arm in a counterclockwise motion and chant this incantation

Add in the sanctified Water and begin stirring once again in a counterclockwise motion until you get a slightly watery paste, like that of pancake batter.

Go to Each opening in your home, windows and doors, air conditioning vents, the whole lot , and paint upon it the pentacle of banishment.

While painting use the below incantation

Add the herbs into the mortar and pestle and begin to grind them. Pause to add the salt in, then continue. Add the garlic and pumpkin pie spice in at the same time (keep grinding)! Finally, the onion powder. As you grind envision all your energy pouring into the mortar and pestle.

By the time you're done, it's okay if some of the herbs aren't full crushed. Mine wasn't, and the dragons I was working with liked it fine.

Pour the mix into the bowl and add the water. Stir it with a spoon. This would be a good time to add anything else you think the spirits would like.

Leave it out overnight to collect moonlight. Or if you're doing this in the middle of the night for some reason leave it out over day. (Or, if you used holy water, moon water, or sun water, you don't need to leave it out.) You might need to stir it again after leaving it out, as the materials get separated in some spots.

Voila! You now have a suitable offering to the spirits!

Sit outside in a quiet, undisturbed space. Somewhere you know no one will walk through. Sit down, and close your eyes. Breath in and out slowly. Visualize your familiar. (What species it is, what it looks like, its name, etc.) Once you've done that, hold the image in your mind and whisper your familiar's name.

You might have to do this multiple times, over many days, but you'll know when it worked. You might not always be able to clearly see your familiar, if at all, but you should feel its' presence.

You need to meditate often in order to maintain it, as it feeds off of spiritual energy, which is exercised during meditation. if you ever decide you don't want it anymore, or feel like you're ready for a physical familiar, just skip a meditation or two.
