    1) Make a strong infusion of peppermint by pouring boiling water over the botanical.
    2) When it cools, strain out the peppermint and add the liquid to a bucket of floorwash rinse water.

    4) Cleanse the floors and threshold areas to radiate an invitation to happiness and good fortune.

    An effective potion powder that can be made with ingredients from the yard. (Don't eat the powder, just sprinkle it in your wallet, purse, pocket, or safe)

    ''Needles, Needles from a tree, wealthy, this powder will make me!''
    Sprinkle it wherever you keep your money. (But don't eat it)

    This bay leaf-based bay rum formula may be used for healing, cleansing and to enhance divination.
    You may need:

  • Crushed bay laurel leaves
  • Ground allspice berries
  • Ground cardamom
  • Ground cinnamon

  • Fine dark Caribbean rum

    1) Add all of the dry ingredients (crushed bay laurel leaves, ground allspice berries, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, ground cloves) to one pint (half a litre) of fine dark Caribbean rum.
    2) Shake it and let it sit for a week.
    3) Strain out the solid ingredients.
    4) Place some new allspice berries or a whole bay leaf in the bottle.

    The bay rum formula is used for luck, gambling, healing and cleansing spells.
    You may need:

  • Essential oil of Jamaica bayberry
  • Essential oil of petitgrain
  • Essential oil of allspice
  • Essential oil of cardamom
  • Essential oil of cloves
  • Fine Dark Rum
  • Distilled Water

    Dilute the essential oils in fine dark rum and distilled water. Although scent-free alcohol is usually recommended, bay rum is the exception to the rule. Rum, a liquor used in many spells, enhances bay rum's magical properties. Its scent is considered integral to the formula: select the most fragrant rum as possible.

    Jamaica bayberry is the predominant ingredient. Its presence and fragrance should dominate the blend. If you have access to Jamaica bayberries, dried botanicals may be substituted for essential oils. Substitute orange zest for petitgrain.

    #720 - All Purpose Victory Potion

    This potion will work for all things. But be warned, this potion will not keep forever if not refrigerated.
    You may need:

  • 3 cherries
  • 1 white candle
  • 1 blue candle
  • 1 orange or gold candle
  • Salt
  • 1 blackberry leaf
  • A dead plant stem
  • Desire

    Fill a bowl with cold water. Add a few pinches of salt and stir with you finger. Light the candles. Heat each cherry with each candle (be careful of the flame). Then, squeeze the juice out of each cherry into the bowl. Shred the leaf and add it to the potion. Stir the potion with the dead stem while thinking of why you're making this. Then, bottle it.

    To use:

    Apply the potion to your skin. (Be sure to check with your doctor first to see if you're allergic to anything) This potion can even be used for things that that you didn't make the potion for. After all, this is all purpose, because the key ingredient is desire.
