Personal Bio
Hey, so I'd rather not disclose my actual name here so you can call me Astraea or Adeca. I don't really mind .
(Oh the profile picture is just something I drew, it's not of me)
So I guess I'd call myself a secular, agnostic, spiritual, urban, sigil, cosmic witchling but I am very new to magick hence "witchling". At first, I was quite sceptical about this whole "magick" thing but then I realised that this, me discovering this incredible and vast world, was going to happen all along. When I was younger, I was extremely interested in the occult and spells and always thought angels were around watching over me but growing up in a strict Christian environment, this was severely frowned upon so I had to force myself out of that phase - well my parents did. Even after that though, I had this obsession with powers and wanting to be able to manipulate the environment around me, much to my parents' dismay, and I loved (still love) watching the stars especially since I live in the city. Seeing the stars on a clear night, without the pollution or cloudy England sky blocking them is probably one of the most wonderfully magical things I have ever experienced.
I was going to be a solitary magick user but my friend (who has shamans in his family background and kinda thought that I couldn't be a witch without having the background but anyway not the point) told me that I should learn from others as this is the best way to learn and it also ensures that I am practicing safely. I thought about it and I think he's right so I'm going to look for a coven to join and I'd love to find one in the UK but since this is still a topic that is frowned upon over here, it being a primarily Christian country, I think that finding an online coven is the best way to go. I need people to talk to since I can't come out of the broom closet .
Other than starting to get into the world of magick, I like Japanese culture and I'm learning the language. My favourite genres of music are indie, alternative, punk rock, indie rock, hip-hop, k-pop, rap, reggae, dancehall, soca, jazz and there's probably more but I've written enough already. I'm learning the double bass and it feels like my other half I absolutely cannot breathe without it. I also like to sing, read books (though I don't have the time for them as much as I used to because of sixth-form). I watch anime occasionally, I watch gaming channels on YouTube, I love Netflix and I'm a PC gamer but not as much as I used to be. If you wanna get to know me, go ahead! I am so shy when you first meet me but so random and weird when I get used to someone. I can go super quiet a lot of the time though and I'm trying to improve that part of myself . Whelp Baiii.
P.S I really love using Latin in my spells for some reason is that weird?
